Retirement age in Germany. Comparison of pensions in Russia and Germany

In Russia, it is decided to raise the retirement age. Our deputies believe that men must work until age 65, women - up to 60. The fact that only a small part survives to this age, no one cares. There is no money, the pension reform has failed, citizens have stopped trusting the funds, they are taking their salaries to the "shadow". People do not think about the future, at least so our authorities argue, making unfavorable counts about the amount of money brought to the pension fund.

Increasing the time of labor activity for our citizens, the government focuses on Europe. We are given the example of retirement age in Germany. However, much does not agree. For example, the standard of living is not taken into account, its duration is also in the "decaying West". Also we are not told about the size of the pension on the state pension provision for them and for us. We decided to check how things are with the problems of older people with "our European partners". What is the pension in Germany? All this will be considered further.

Happy old age

Whatever advantages and disadvantages of Western civilization we might call, it is obvious that care for the elderly and children is placed at the center of the corner. Pension insurance in Germany is one of the best in the world. According to the UN, the German pensioners in terms of standard of living are inferior only to Swedish and Norwegian.

In Germany, you can not hear the phrase "my grandfather fought", "thank you to my grandfather for the victory." You will not see in it pensioners who sell vegetables near retail outlets. But it is often possible to observe the elderly people from Germany at various ski resorts, on the beaches of the Mediterranean. What are the reasons? Is it all about the state pension for pensions? Let's take a look at these questions further.

Sources of well-being

In Germany, two sources of income for the elderly: public pension provision and private funds. The authorities guarantee payments from the budget to citizens whose income is not more than 3900 euros. This is about 300 thousand for Russian rubles. We agree that the salary of 100 thousand rubles is already solid among us. And the "normal" for some Russian regions is 20-25 thousand rubles. This is a question of the greatness of the state. Germans, whose income is above 3,900 euros, enter into a voluntary agreement with private funds. They deduct a certain amount voluntarily.

Retirement age in Germany

Now about the painful. When does the work experience officially end with them? So, the retirement age of men in Germany starts from 65, women - from 60 years. Soon in our country will be the same. However, the standard of living in Germany is such that authorities and sociologists suggest an increase in the age of retirement. It is possible that the retirement age of women in Germany will soon be 65 years, men - 67. However, such a measure will be ineffective, as political scientists say. The problem of the Germans is the aging of the population. The situation is more complicated only in Sweden. There and at all offer to move the age to 75 years.

You can retire early. To do this, it is necessary to make allocations to the funds for at least 35 years. In Germany, severe laws for parasites. If a person has not worked anywhere or worked officially for less than 5 years, then the state will not pay him a pension. This problem is felt by emigrants. Many of our compatriots who moved to Germany at a mature and retirement age remain outside the social security line. The search for a better life only worsened their situation. The source of their existence is various social funds, which are aimed at supporting the poor. The procedure is rather unpleasant, but necessary. We agree that getting a well-deserved pension and going to ask for handouts for various organizations are two different things.

How much do German pensioners pay?

We sorted the retirement age in Germany, now we will consider the question of how much older people receive as a labor pension. There is no single number. At everyone it is individual. Depends on many factors:

  • Number of years worked;
  • The amount of deductions to funds;
  • Study, which goes to work experience;
  • Military service;
  • Number of children, etc.

Based on the above, points are accrued, which affect the amount. Something like this can be observed today in our state. At us this system only takes root. However, how much do pensioners in Germany get on average? We will answer this question.

The "ideal" pension is about 1250 euros. This is about 85 thousand rubles for our money at the rate of 2016. This is the standard that has worked for 45 years for the average salary of a citizen. However, few people can boast of such experience.

Germany's section affected pensions

The long division of Germany into the FRG and the GDR has led to some inequality. In the west, the average man gets 1052 euros, in the east - a little less, about 1000 euros. Women, on the contrary, in the east receive more, 700 euros against 521 in the west. This is because in the GDR women work on a par with men, have a long record of service.

Figures do not strike the imagination. Before the growth of the euro, in transferring to our money, pensioners in Germany received "only" about 40 thousand rubles. Of course, with our 10-12 thousand rubles. Do not compare. However, we have formed myths that in the West there are huge pensions that allow buying houses and yachts. However, the figures that we named are state guarantees. Most citizens already pay mortgage loans, live in their homes, they are paid additional corporate payments, interest from private pension funds, etc.

The state supports widows and widowers. Their pension is doubled. In addition, there are a number of advantages that our citizens will envy.

Pensioners in Germany - beggars in Europe?

Indeed, pensioners in Germany receive less than in many countries of Western Europe. Even such crisis countries as Italy, Greece, Spain, pay more. More recently, German politicians actively criticized A. Merkel, who decided to financially support the Greeks, save them from default. As a reproach, it was argued that the citizens of Greece are not used to work, and their pensioners without work experience receive more benefits than the German ones who have worked all their lives.

More than half of the elderly in Germany receive about 700 euros. The figure, say, is not impressive. Especially if you compare Denmark with an average pension of $ 2,800. However, Germany is considered a social state. They never leave a citizen in a difficult life situation.

The state pays the elderly apartment, medical care, which is one of the best in the world, allocates food allowances. All this allows us to ensure a decent old age.

Market relations of children and parents

State pension provision, support to other sections of the population, assistance to the poor led to a special relationship between parents and children. When they reach adulthood, children leave the house. Parents help them only with their blessings. The adult life begins. Our usual situation, when parents-pensioners help children of working age, is considered absurd. Study, accommodation - the state helps in everything, especially in a difficult life situation. Between parents and children, market relations. They also gather together on holidays, visit each other, but real Germans are supposed to pay each other all the costs incurred.

Children pay the same coin. Older parents are not accepted to take to themselves. Finding a nursing home for the parent is the main help for children. There are no shortcomings in such establishments. The country has a whole branch of social protection. A whole industry of training specialists, more than 11 thousand homes for the elderly with the most comfortable conditions - all this makes it possible not only to survive retirees, but to live in comfortable conditions.

"Young old age"

Time from 65 to 75 in Germany spend for your own pleasure. People at this age are doing everything they want. From our citizens you can often hear "it's too late", "I'm already old," "I should have done it before." In Germany, the opposite is true. The retirement age in Germany, though high, but the life expectancy is much higher. This is due to quality medicine, a balanced diet, a healthy lifestyle, disease prevention, outdoor activities. At 65 years old, a German citizen is not a helpless old man, but an active person. He has a lot of strength and desires for new activities: sports, outdoor activities, dancing, learning foreign languages.

They like to travel. Often German pensioners can be observed in Turkey, Georgia, Greece, Latvia, Russia. They can be recognized immediately by a number of qualities: taciturnity, equanimity, and economy.

Results

In our country, we are used to being equal to the West in solving many problems. Raising the retirement age "like them," the introduction of a point system, etc. - all this is introduced with the help of "advanced European experience". However, we forget that the average life expectancy in the same Germany is 10-15 years higher than ours, German medicine is one of the foremost. We only the wealthiest citizens are able to be treated in Germany's clinics with the latest equipment, which for German pensioners is absolutely free. Various social insurance funds are paid for them. There are many problems, there they also are. We just want to say that it is not worth copying some Western measures, because they do not always approach our reality.
