As for the quality of the equipment, by the standards of the old times, it was not bad. The dimensions of the gaps of the body panels and the fastening of the doors were correctly executed.
Engine VAZ 2103 had a power of 77 hp. And created conditions for acceleration in 19 seconds to 100 km / h. Versions of VAZ 21033 and VAZ 21035 were equipped with a 1.3 liter engine.
Having a ground clearance of 170 mm, this model with the help of a lowered "draft" of the body reacts the collector of the exhaust pipe to any irregularities. The manner of travel is similar to all classic models: the machine does not move very correctly due to the soft suspension, hence, the steering response is "greased", which in sum creates an obstacle to control at maximum speed with a slippery road.
The renewal of the electrical part is due to the appearance of new wiring harness terminals. A small change has occurred with the carburetor - added a screw quality.
Now to find quality spare parts for the car VAZ 2103 is very problematic, above all, we are talking about bumpers with chrome "wings", chrome lined grille.
