Origin and classification
A phonogram is a word that is of Greek origin. Its constituent elements can be translated as sound and recording. The phonogram can be both digital and analog.
Concerts
The phonogram can be both negative and positive. In the first case, we are talking about recording an accompaniment. The second version contains both the musical and the vocal part of the composition. The latter option is used by artists easier, significantly simplifying their task at the concert. Phonograms are also used by singers during prefabricated concerts, because they do not have time and opportunity to carry out a full-fledged adjustment of equipment.
Sometimes, when using a plus recording, the performer may include his own microphone, which allows him to lose the talk with the audience. Thus, an illusion of live performance is created. The use of phonogram by artists often became a subject of sharp criticism and caused attempts of prohibition. Opponents of this technology insist that the viewer who pays for the ticket gets the right to hear the real performance of songs by the artist.
