For many years, the complex has repeatedly held fairs, exhibitions, competitions and championships. At least five thousand gala concerts, fifty competitions, seminars and conferences, ice shows were held there. Popular singers and bands such as Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, The Rasmus, ATB, Prodigy and many others performed. Here, in 2005, the idea of creating a premiere of the Eurovision music contest was realized, and soon a childlike match appeared.

Arena

In the spring of 2011, a festive ceremony was held to mark the opening of the complex after a short interval of 6 months. The arena and locker rooms desperately needed repairs, which was done. At the same time, new seats were installed, which are painted in the color of the national flag, and an electronic display, whose model is similar to a cube, was updated. It is connected from several plasma displays that can display various sports tournaments and performances that take place in the arena. Today, visitors have become more comfortable, because now they get a maximum of delight and pleasure, visiting the Palace of Sports. The photo of the hall conveys only a part of all this splendor.

Of special interest is the scene of the arena, which is a unique creation. All guests can clearly see any action in different parts of the rostrum. There is a large playground for rehearsals behind the scenes, where the main hall is located. In the dressing rooms are installed not only shower cabins and toilets, but also massage tables, cabinets for things. The latter easily transforms into comfortable dressing rooms. If necessary, you can hang a mirror and install special furniture. In the Palace of Sports in Kiev, exhibitions and expositions on various topics are held on 2 floors, when there are no concerts and championships in the schedule. The central gate with eleven corridors is the first floor.

In addition, there are several entrances for VIPs and locker rooms, which are designed for almost ten thousand people. The Museum

About 50 years have passed since the foundation of the stadium. Here a museum of history has opened, where visitors can see more than three hundred expositions.
