Outdoor games

Outdoor sports have always been considered useful, but with the onset of winter, everyone moves to fitness centers, not suggesting that sports at this time of year can be practiced in the open. You just need to follow simple rules. Outdoor games are incredibly useful at any age. The view that in the winter it is necessary to limit oneself to morning exercises is fundamentally wrong. You can do exercises and play sports games outdoors with the children. This will relieve stress in adults and will be a good means of preventing sleep disorders, and children will be able to rationally spend energy and strengthen the cardiovascular system. Outdoor games will be especially useful for the elderly and small children, because they need more than the others normalized physical activity, which contributes to the formation of a strong immunity. A special list of exercises is chosen for children.

Outdoor games for children

So, we will offer several variants of sports games for children in the open air. In these games, children are divided into several teams, each of which is lined up one after the other.

1) Race with a spoon and an egg

A basket with eggs, potatoes, apples or stones is located in front of each team and the first member of the team is given a spoon. On the far line in front of the team is placed an empty basket and at the signal the first player of the team takes the egg from the basket with a spoon and, holding his left hand from behind, carries him to the empty basket. Then, returning, passes the spoon to the second player, who repeats the same thing that the first player did. When the last player of any team brings an egg, the game is considered complete and the one from the team that first coped with the task wins. If the player drops an egg, he should still try to collect it with a spoon and bring it to an empty basket.

2) Competitions on peeling

Opposite to each of the teams on the far line are a basket with peas and an empty dish. For each team player in the basket there must be six pods. At the signal, the first player of the team runs to the basket, peas and puts six already empty pods on the dish. Then the player passes the baton to the next participant who repeats the same thing. The team that first performed the task wins.

3) Rope Rope Relay

At the edge of the site draw a line, and in the center pull a rope. At the signal, the first member of the team jumps over a tight rope and runs to the edge. Then he reaches the line, goes back and passes the baton to the next player who repeats the task. Each competitor must jump at least six times through the rope there and back. The task is completed by the last member of the team.

4) Dizziness

The first participant of each team is given a gymnastic stick and, at the signal, the first participant of each team resting one end of the stick in the ground, and the forehead rests against the opposite end. So he turns around exactly three times, and then takes it in his right hand, runs to the far line and returns to hand the baton to the next member of the team, which in turn does the same thing as the first player.

5) Race of caterpillars

Each competitor rests on his back and grasps the ankles of the back player with both hands. At the signal, the columns move simultaneously, and these "caterpillars" creep forward and return back. The team, the first who completed the baton, wins, provided that the column is not broken.

When choosing a game it is important to select those games in the open air that are accessible and understandable to the child by age. If this game was too complicated, you can simplify the rules. Complicate the conditions of the games gradually, children should be encouraged to improve and strive for sporting achievements.
