The boy was born in a large Jewish family. At that time, Poland was a part of the Russian Empire. Aaron Kosminsky grew up in a poor provincial town, enveloped in anti-Semitic sentiments. This situation forced the family to immigrate to the UK.

Kosminsky and his family settled in the London area of immigrants - Whitechapele. This place is difficult to call safe. In the second half of the XIX century, there was a high level of unemployment and crime. Whitechapel was distinguished by poverty and an abundance of women of easy virtue. The family of the suspect quickly immigrated from London after the events that occurred. The stories of witnesses personally acquainted with Aaron, about his personality are contradictory. Some people say that he was always hot-tempered and aggressive, others say that no one expected an attempt on his own sister from a quiet person. Kosminsky himself spent his whole life in psychiatric hospitals. He died in one of the medical institutions in 1919.

However, doubting its authenticity is difficult, since the author of the message promised to cut off the next victim's ears. This promise was fulfilled.

Photo of the murderer is not preserved, in the archives there are only pictures of his sister and brother. It was not possible to establish the true motives of the criminal. The cruelty with which crimes were committed suggests that Jack the Ripper was killed solely for the sake of enjoying the process.

Could all of these crimes have been committed by the very young Kosminsky Aaron acting alone? Victims of a maniac are only women of medium build. Physically, twenty-three-year-old Aaron could well cope with them. And yet some researchers argue that Kosminsky was only one of the members of an organized criminal group.
