He plays the role of a parasite and boor of Fyodor, who faces the main character in public transport. Between them begins a fight, as a result of which Fed is sentenced in the form of correctional labor and sent to the construction site. Only there he is waiting for another unpleasant surprise - on the horizon Shurik appears again, who will henceforth be his partner.

Alexei Smirnov did a lot of acting, but mostly they were episodic roles. "Adventures of Shurik" became a "star" hour for the actor. Another of his outstanding work is the role of a mechanic in the war film "Only Old Men Are Going to Battle."

Also in the novel "Partner" were involved Mikhail Pugovkin ("Sportloto 82"), Vladimir Basov ("Mimino") and Emmanuil Geller ("Scarlet Sails").

Natalia Selezneva as Lida

Natalia Selezneva made her debut for the first time in the lead role in the novel "Delusion", filmed for the film "The Adventures of Shurik." Prior to this, the actress appeared in only four films and played there either episodic roles, or second plan.

The role of Lidochka from the Polytechnic Institute, which quite unexpectedly became the lover of the protagonist, glorified Seleznev throughout the Soviet Union. Moreover, it was the novel "Delusion" that took the main prize at the Krakow Film Festival of short films.

Immediately after such a successful debut, Seleznev won the main role in the film "Sasha-Sashenka". And then there were "Ivan Vasilievich changing the profession" all the same Gaidai, "Can not be" and many more remarkable films with her participation.

Other characters of the novella "Delusion"

Coward, Bulbes and Experienced

Unforgettable for the viewer was a trio of comical characters with the nicknames of Coward, Balbes and Experienced. These unsuccessful thieves and speculators already appeared in Gaidai's short film "The Moonshiners", then they confused the audience with their stupidity in "Operation Y", and a little later they reappeared in the "Caucasian Captive".

The role of the Experienced - the leader of the criminal trinity - was played by Yevgeny Morgunov ("The Young Guard"). Experienced, in the plot, only seemingly an intelligent person, in fact, all his actions say that he is not "seven spades in the forehead."

Georgiy Vitsin, known for his roles in many wonderful films ("The Wedding of Balzaminov", "Gentlemen of Fortune"), played the role of Trus in the famous trio. As one can understand by the nickname, this character is an unnecessary ballast in the company: he is constantly afraid of everything and always makes foolishness of fear.

If the character played by George Vitsin does stupid things out of fear, then the hero of Yuri Nikulin ("The Diamond Arm") acts so simply because he is a real "dunce."
