OJSC "Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant named after Planin" is a city-forming enterprise, on whose welfare the prosperity of the 100-thousand-strong city of Arzamas depends. It produces hardware components and instruments for the aircraft industry, the space industry, and civilian applications.

Description

For 60 years the Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant has mastered advanced technologies, progressive methods of working in the commodity market, new types of products, systematically developing production. The APZ maintains leading positions in the production of equipment, devices and systems for air defense and aviation equipment, medical equipment, energy metering devices, safety devices for road construction machines, automotive parts, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

The products of the enterprise are widely known in the Russian Federation and abroad. JSC "Arzamas instrument-making" is dynamically developing, permanent reorganization of its subdivisions is being carried out, new specialized production is being created, which allows to increase volumes and expand the range of products.

In the spirit of the best traditions, the youth organization - the Council of Labor Youth - is actively working. A special pride of the plant is the work collective. The life and work of thousands of Arzamasians are inextricably linked with the instrument-making plant, on which whole dynasties work. The objects of social and cultural life are preserved and strengthened:

  • House of Culture "Rhythm".
  • Physical culture club "Znamya".
  • Black Sea recreation center.

Production start

The first products for aviation Arzamas instrument-making factory began to produce already in 1958. First, the release of the joint connector of the pilot's seat in the plane (ORK-2) was mastered. Next came the release of angular velocity sensors. The enterprise was actually the main one in this industry, and at many factories of the USSR knew the famous Pladinsky DUS. Since 1962, the enterprise has begun production of sophisticated instruments for the aviation industry.

As the plant grew older, the accuracy of the produced instruments increased. The sensors of linear acceleration (DLD), three-stage gyroscopy were mastered, on-board complexes with the use of self-made sensors were started. The detectors of icing produced by the APZ were installed practically on all aircraft equipment.

Instruments for aerospace industry

Now the Arzamas Instrument - Making Plant named after PI Planina produces more than one hundred types of aviation industry products: angular and linear acceleration sensors, DUs, free gyroscopes, gyrostabilizers, icing detectors, various types of actuator actuators, dynamically tuned gyroscopes, verification panels, feedback sensors , Control systems, onboard computers.

Angular velocity sensors are issued as direct measurements (DUSTU, DUSU), and more accurate, compensatory type (DUSVCH, DUS300T). The linear acceleration sensors are used in control devices of traction in many aircraft. Small-sized sensors of DALM and high-frequency sensors of the DRLV, due to the convenience of use, are used not only in aircraft, but also in construction, road machinery and railway transport.

Production of gyroscopes

The highlight of the company is gyroscopy. Free three-stage gyroscopes are produced for their own needs (they are used in plant control systems and autonomous liquidation systems), but recently GSI-T, which was specially developed as a telemetry device, is very popular among control system developers, which is indispensable for flight tests.

In the 80s, the Arzamas Instrument-making Plant made a leap in the production of gyro devices, launching the release of inertial navigation systems:

  • DUS-300T - for medium-current with a random drift of 18 deg / h.
  • Precision GVK-6 with a random drift of 0.03 deg / h.
  • GVK-6 - it became the first dynamically tuned gyroscope (DNG).

Modernization

Over the years, thanks to the program of technical re-equipment adopted by the company's management, a large-scale re-equipment of the machine park is under way. The plant employs a large number of processing centers of world manufacturers.

Thanks to the equipping of scientific units with modern computers and software, the Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant named after Planin was able to start developing self-powered gyroscopes. The development of DNGDP-3001 is completed, which, thanks to a patent-protected solution, with a small size and a range of 300 deg / sec has a random drift "from launch to launch" of 5 deg / h. Modernization of the DUS300T was performed, which made it possible to shorten the readiness time to 4 seconds while reducing the sensitivity threshold. At the same time, the device retained such an advantage of the float gyro as a high mechanical strength.

A new direction of the plant's activity was the development of a micromechanical accelerometer, which should replace the traditional mechanical one. Currently, the idea of a solid-state wave gyro is experiencing a second birth, and a number of dynamically tuned gyroscopes are expanding. All this will allow us to update a number of special-purpose products manufactured by APZ for the aviation industry.

Devices for surface-to-air missile systems

In 1965, the Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant mastered the release of the first rocket stabilization system relative to the center of mass. In the late 70's, the release of an integrated control and navigation system with cruise missiles was mastered. And gyroscopes, inertial navigation system and onboard computer were made by own forces. This entailed the development of precision machining, the workshop of printed circuit boards, assembly production and the formation of highly qualified scientific and technical and production personnel. Until now, control systems for air defense systems and targets remain one of the main products of the enterprise.

These systems have the highest technical level, are created on the most modern element base, with the use of self-made sensor equipment, including own developments. The enterprise also completes the produced drive control systems, and some also gyrostabilizers.

Instruments for space

Since the late 60's JSC "Arzamas instrument-making plant" for launch vehicles of various types produces executive mechanisms. They control the thrust of space jet engines. The design developed half a century ago turned out to be extremely successful: IM-25 and IM-16 will be put on perspective starships of future generations.

Only in 2009, BDG-6 was removed from production - a block of damping gyroscopes, constructed decades ago. It is replaced by a more modern BDG-36, intended for the "Angara" and "Zenith".
