Neuromedin: instructions

The main active substance of the drug "Neuromedin" instruction calls a complex compound - ipidakrin. Its pharmacological properties are due to a combination of two effects occurring at the molecular level. The first of these is the ability to create a blockade of the potassium permeability of the membrane, and the second is the ability to inhibit the activity of cholinesterase. As a result of these effects, the drug "Neuromidine" enhances the effect of substances such as adrenaline, serotonin and histamine on the smooth muscles of acetylcholine.

The drug has the following pharmacological abilities. It can effectively stimulate the processes of neuromuscular transmission, and also contribute to the stabilization of the pulse in the periphery of the nervous system. The use of the drug contributes to increased contractility of smooth muscle organs, and in addition, provides moderate stimulation of the central nervous system.

The drug is safe enough when used under the recommended conditions, it has no teratogenic and mutagenic effect, the drug does not have a carcinogenic and immunotoxic effect. Its negative impact on the human endocrine system was not noted.

Ipidacrine can be absorbed quickly after administration. In plasma, its maximum concentration is reached after about one hour, if the drug was taken in the form of tablets. If the drug is administered intramuscularly, the maximum concentration is achieved twice as fast. In the tissue from the plasma, the drug is so rapidly supplied that its residues are only 2%. The half-life of ipidakrin is 40 minutes, while the degree of its association with proteins is 40-50%. The drug "Neuromidine" recommends the use in the following cases. It is an effective remedy for various lesions of the nervous system. In particular, it is used in the treatment of neuropathy, various forms of neuritis, bulbar paralysis, memory disorders.

Assign a drug to patients with Alzheimer's disease and various types of dementia, as well as in cases of CNS lesions of different genesis. The drug "Neuromidin" is used as part of complex therapy in the treatment of demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system.

Before using the drug, you should carefully read what recommends the instruction for the use of the drug "Neuromidine" in ampoules and tablets. This need is explained by the fact that this drug is intended to treat a fairly wide range of diseases, and for each case, an individual approach is necessary, both in the form of administration and dosage.

Among the main contraindications include epilepsy, angina pectoris, various bowel diseases. In the treatment with the drug "Neuromidine" the instruction stipulates the possibility of a number of side effects: itching, rash, nausea, dizziness. If such phenomena occur, it is necessary to lower the dose, or stop taking the drug for a while.

Particular care should be taken when taking medication for those patients who have heart disease diagnosed.

It is not recommended to take the drug while driving.

When an overdose of the components of the drug "Neuromidine", the instruction calls such symptoms as bronchospasm, lacrimation. There are also cases of miosis, the occurrence of vomiting, arrhythmia. In the most acute cases, convulsions and the onset of coma may occur.

When you poison the components of the drug should be used M-holinoblokatory: atropine sulfate, cyclodol and immediately consult a doctor.
