The medicine "Fortrans", its analog, the medication "Forlax" - both belong to the category of laxatives. The mechanism of action of the preparations is based on the combination of an isotonic electrolyte solution with a high molecular weight polymer. The Macrogol 4000, which is part of Fortrans, prevents the absorption of water from the stomach and intestines, thus accelerating the evacuation of the contents (through frequent defecations). Contraindications
