The drug "Remo-wax" (ear drops) can be used to treat patients from birth. The agent is prescribed to prevent the accumulation of sulfur and accelerate its removal from the external auditory canal. Sulfur is the secret of glands, it contains lysozyme, immunoglobulins, lipids and proteins. All these substances contribute to the maintenance of skin hydration, provide protection against damage and penetration of bacteria. As a rule, sulfur is eliminated independently during the chewing process. However, with the appearance of irritants (exposure to dust, metabolic disorders, microdamages by earbuds, water, cotton buds, earplugs, against skin pathologies, or with a sharp climate change) gland secretion increases.
