Neklinovsky district of the Rostov region: description, village and residence

Administrative Features

This site is in the southwestern part of the region. Rostov-on-Don is 75 km from this point. The zone borders on Ukraine. Neighbor from the west side - Novoazovsky district of Donetsk region. In the north and east there is a border with the Matveyev-Kurgan and Rodionov-Nesvetai parts of Rostov. At the edge of the southeast is the Myasnikovsky District. Near the Sea of Azov in an area of about 2,150 km², there is a picturesque Neklinovsky district. The banks are washed by the Taganrog Bay. Accordingly, the length from east to west is more than 100 km. The width of the area from south to north reaches 30 km.

The first mention of this area dates back to 1769. Then these lands were inhabited by grain growers and artisans from Ukraine. The population consisted of families of Zaporozhye Cossacks. 500 people settled and created settlements that exist today: Pokrovsky, Troitskoe and Nikolaevka.

At the beginning of the 20th century, residents of the Neklinovsky District opposed the brutality of the landowners. Their mood was supported by the October Revolution. However, coups were not without bloody events. The clashes between the White Guards and the Red Army, intrigues of the Entente and the Triple Alliance took many lives.

The villages of the Neklinovsky district were supported by the Soviet military. In 1918, 8000 Red soldiers were landed on the shores of the Sea of Azov, residents of the surroundings joined them. However, the army could not stand the battles with the enemy, and from the big army there were only 200 people left. In memory of their exploits, monuments were erected and the villages were named: Khristoforovka, Botsmanova, Krasnyi Desant.

The Soviet period

The district at this time was led by the Taganrog District. In 1919 a new wave of insurrection began. Local residents liberated the territory from the White Guards and established the power of the Soviets. In the 1920s, the first cooperatives, communes and collective farms were created.

Since 1920 Neklinovsky district was a part of Ukrainian Donetsk, and since 1924 - in Matveyev-Kurgan district. The modern territories were separated in 1935. The date of education is considered January 18, although it should be noted that after this the borders have been changed many times.

During the Great Patriotic War, two guerrilla detachments emerged here, who bravely fought against the occupation regime. After the liberation of their native land, people again began to work. And already in 1945, 65% of the sown area was treated. Until the fifties they completed electricity to the farms, since 1985 they grew corn, soy, sunflower.

The genius of literature at one time traveled through the Neklinovsky district. From one of the settlements, which came very close to the seashore, it was visible to the scythe. The locals called it Lukomorye. It was this landscape in his poem that the poet described.

Social sphere

The administrative center is the village of Pokrovskoe. The date of the founding of the item is 1769. According to the latest data, about 12,000 people live here. The distance to Rostov-on-Don is 75 km. The population is fully provided with work, because there are a dairy, a sausage plant, a brick factory and other agricultural companies. From the bowels of the earth they extract gas, clay and sand.

Good transport links in the village of Pokrovskoe. Neklinovsky district has a railway. There are many bus routes and an excellent road.

Neklinovsky district of the Rostov region is also famous for good fish. The reservoirs of this region are rich in tailings.
