Monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya - a step into immortality through torment

Now we can not say for sure whether the words quoted by correspondents in Pravda are realistic. Was Zoya really agitating the Soviet people for the struggle and predicting the future defeat for the fascist invaders? This we do not know, one thing is clear: even if there were no fearless words, the heroic, patriotic and courageous heroism of a young girl can certainly be called a feat.

Monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya in Moscow

Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya is an 18-year-old Moscow schoolgirl, a member of the Komsomol. She was born in the Tambov region, but then the family moved to Moscow. Now her body rests on the Novodevichy cemetery.

The biggest part of Zoya's life is connected with Moscow, and in the Moscow region she was overtaken by a tragic death. Maybe that's why there is the largest number of memorable places in this city. Here, on Zoe Street and Alexander Kosmodemyanskikh, there is a school No. 201 in which the girl studied. Here, after going to the garden near the school, we can see what touched the hand of a brave Moscow schoolgirl. One of the monuments to the girl is also located here.

In Moscow, at the Novodevichye cemetery, coming to the grave of the girl, we can feel her fighting spirit, imprinted in the tombstone.

"I'm not afraid to die, comrades! It's a blessing to die for your people! "

The words taken for the title belong to Zoe Kosmodemyanskaya. We can say that they were the last for her, after all, in a few moments the German executioner knocked out a wooden box from under the feet of the exhausted girl, and she silently hung in a noose.

Who is she, the hero-girl? First and foremost, she is a daughter and sister, and then a member of the Komsomol, a Red Army soldier of the guerrilla unit, an extraordinarily courageous girl. Zoya is the first woman to be awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union at the price of her own life during the Great Patriotic War.

Zoe is a symbol of heroism, which inspired Soviet youth to fight fascist invaders.

Fortunately, the feat of the girl was not forgotten after the victory. In many cities memorable monuments were erected. In her honor called schools, libraries, streets.

The most realistic in terms of location can be called a monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, located in the village Petrishchevo.

The feat is not forgotten: the descendants remember it

The monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya in Petrishchevo was erected not accidentally. It was here that the Komsomol, the Red Army soldier, the partisan Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, heroically parted with her life. It happened on November 29, 1941 in the center of the village, at a crossroads. The girl's mutilated body hung on the gallows for three days (and according to other sources for a whole month).

The monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya can be seen not only on the site of her feat. Moscow, Kiev, Tambov, St. Petersburg, Kharkov, Oster, Panteleymovka, Saki, Komsomolsk, Yerevan, Donetsk, Sumy - all these settlements perpetuated the feat of the heroine, Kosmodemyanskaya Zoya Anatolievna, in stone (monuments, busts, obelisks, commemorative plaques , Memorial plaques).

Perhaps the most famous is the monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya on the Minsk highway. Here, at the 86th kilometer, the first stop is made by tourists who come to see the place of the death of the Soviet heroine Zoe.

The monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya on the Minsk Highway is interesting not only for its proximity to the village of Petryshchevo, but also for the fact that you will not miss it exactly, going to the museum named after this girl.

Over Minsk's flying highways ...

Poet Nikolai Dmitriev mentioned the monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, located on the Minsk highway, in his poem:

She called herself Tanya.
Not knowing that in a proud beauty
Unbroken, bronze will rise
Over the Minsk highway.

At the 86th kilometer of the Ruza district of the Moscow region, on a high pedestal among the sprawling trees stands out the thin mill of the girl.

According to the structure of the body, it is noticeable that the girl is young enough, but if you look at the face, it becomes clear that she is beyond the years serious. Frown eyebrows, proudly thrown up his head and hands tied behind his back - that's what the Soviet heroine saw the sculptors VA Fedorov, OA Ikonnikov and the architect A. Kaminsky.

The monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya was erected in 1957, one year after the opening of the Zoya Kosmodemyanskoy Museum in Petryshchevo village. The museum is located in a house where a girl who called herself Tanya took the last step into infinity through death.

The exposition is divided into seven rooms. However, the tour of the museum begins with an acquaintance with the sculpture of MG Manizer - "Zoe". A girl with short-cut hair appears before us. She looks courageously and stubbornly forward, and her lips are tightly compressed ... Next to the sculpture is a sign on which Zoya's last words are inscribed: "It's happiness to die for your people".
