Biography

Milan Kashtanova was born in 1982 in Estonia, in the city of Tallinn, there she grew up. There were many plans and aspirations, and to implement them the girl went to St. Petersburg, where she successfully entered the East European Institute of Psychoanalysis, having chosen the specialty of a psychologist for herself. Accident

All the fault was the negligence of FSW workers. They cleared the snow on the roof of the Red Courant, and the fence warning people about the danger, put simply forgotten. A huge block of frozen snow flew from the roof with terrible speed, anyone could suffer, but at that moment in the place of the tragedy was just a young girl of 28 years of Milan Kashtanov. He launched a whole campaign against the FSW, distributed information on the Internet and the media, the rehabilitation of a beloved girl in a German clinic needed a lot of money. Eight months later, from the most difficult coma, thanks to the efforts of relatives and friends, Milan Kashtanova came out.

Facts from life

The first one the girl saw next to her after such a heavy shock was her beloved and devoted husband, Irenaeus. For six years, the struggle for life lasted, in the German clinic, the girl learned how to re-move and talk for months. The lawsuit with the FSW was excruciating, but Milana's husband won in her. The girl has already learned to speak well, but because of the muscle spasm, one hand is still immobile, it is difficult to move around in a wheelchair and perform daily exercises. The monetary compensation won by the court went all the way to the German clinic, now the friends who found and paid for the experienced physiotherapist and the dad working in the taxi at night are helping to solve the financial problem. The biggest problem for Milan today is the terrible headaches that arise in her with vertical movements. Cancer, again a coma

It would seem that Milan Kashtanova has experienced so much that for a lifetime it will be enough, but recently the doctors stated the presence of a malignant tumor (cancer of the thymus gland). We already planned the operation, but at the last moment changed our mind. The examination showed that the size of the neoplasm has not changed over the last three years, so it was decided to observe it and to take computer tomography every six months. Later, another emergency happened. Passing a planned rehabilitation course in the clinic, the girl suddenly fell into a coma again. Immediately connected the best doctors, conducted a series of examinations, identified the cause, which was a sharp reduction in the dose of one of the drugs. I had to go through the already beaten path anew, learn to speak and move. But this PE allowed to move for the better - Milan returned to memory, she began to feel the taste of food and to express their emotions more vividly.

The girl is full of positive

"Now I can call my condition average, I have to work on many more," Milana Kashtanova tells the journalists by phone. She has a different life now. Irenaeus stayed to live and work in St. Petersburg, and to the girl only sometimes comes on arrival. Now they are just good friends, he has done a lot for Milan, and she is very grateful to him for that. Often disturbed by severe headaches and move very difficult, but well supported by a friend, almost the only one who did not abandon her in this difficult period. Together with her they go for walks, were at the concert of Garik Sukachev, and now they plan to attend the performance of the "Kamedi Club". Another short-term memory leads to difficulties with concentration, which does not allow Milan to read books, but she likes watching TV and spending a lot of time communicating online.

For Kostya, 2010 was also fatal

All who remembered this tragedy, for sure, remember and about Konstantin Zhivetyev, who in the same year received a serious injury. This happened during the training in rowing on kayaks. One of the boats overturned, and the guy immediately rushed to the rescue. Drowned, he saved, but he could not get to the beach. The result - a serious brain damage, a long struggle for life, every six months, the passage of rehabilitation courses and daily work on yourself. And if the doctors in Estonia did not leave the guy chances, and parents were advised only to look after him, then the specialists in Germany were more positive, choosing a different, more integrated approach to the treatment of Kostya. To him immediately attached a masseur, ergoterapevta, speech therapist and physiotherapist.

Now Kostya is already trying to walk himself, though, while relying on simulators. And recently he underwent brain research, and his positive dynamics was revealed. In St. Petersburg, he was treated with donor stem cells, they were introduced to him more than 200 million pieces. All the procedures were spent about four and a half thousand euros, and this is only the first step to recovery. Now the parents of the guy in the plans only one thing - to continue treatment with stem cells, because the positive dynamics after their introduction is visible to them and the doctors of the clinic.

The future is in the bright light

Milan Kashtanov and Kostya Zhivetyev were both victims of an unfortunate coincidence, but they did not drop their hands. Upon their return from the clinics, they faced a number of problems - how to take drugs correctly and perform procedures, where to find good doctors, great difficulties arose with questions about finance. Care for such patients is a very hard work, and families of the victims also should be given credit. This is daily attention, feeding, cleaning, often there is no time and no opportunity to just go out.

But a very big problem is still the issue of money. There are people who throughout these years send money to them in the amount of 10-15 euros a month, and for this the families express their deep gratitude to them. Kostya and Milan Kashtanova continue the treatment, which will last for more than a year, but doctors do not put such deplorable diagnoses, but on the contrary, they see a significant improvement in their condition in the future.
