Hero of Russia Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Razumovsky: biography, activities and awards

Only a person who does not value his life above the rest, but, on the contrary, puts him in last place, can occupy the ranks of defenders in the security service. Examples of such brave heroes who laid down their lives for the sake of others are many, and one of them is Dmitry Razumovsky. He considered it worth dying in battle. So it happened during the terrorist attack in Beslan, when the lieutenant colonel took over the bullets, protecting the children's lives. This tragedy caused the death of 10 soldiers from special forces. A total of 334 people died, 186 of them were children.

Childhood and the manifestation of leadership qualities

In 1968, Dima was born in the city of Ulyanovsk, famous for the birth of the leader of the proletariat. Like all children of his age, he went to study literacy: first - to school number 9, and then - to gymnasium number 1, in which he received knowledge of Lenin in his time. At that time in the last educational institution could only learn the best pupils, such as Dmitry Razumovsky - an activist, a sportsman and an excellent student.

Dima's mother, in one of the films dedicated to the memory of the hero, recalled that he was a very kind boy, he always asked me to sing songs to him in his childhood (my mother worked as a music teacher), and the latter should necessarily say "Where the Motherland Begins". When asked who he wants to become, the child answered: "Commander".

Serious attitude to sports and his physical training helped the young man succeed in boxing. Dima in 1985 became the champion of the USSR among the young men.

Difficult cadet

No matter how bad the attitude towards the Soviet authorities, but the culture of that time was directed at the development of patriotism, honor and sense of justice. Dima's favorite film was the "State Border", consisting of 8 films and narrating about the service of the Soviet border guards. The boy, thanks to the historical and adventure film, decided for himself that after graduation he wants to learn military affairs and defend the borders of the Motherland.

Entering the border school in Moscow, he received the nickname "Inconvenient Cadet," that is, a fighter for justice. Among the classmates the guy enjoyed authority, because he could tell the truth to anyone in spite of the regalia and rank. Dmitry Razumovsky, whose biography at every stage of his life was accompanied by a desire to be perfect, honest and courageous, while in the ranks of the Soviet army, calculated in the training options for action and worked them out to the maximum quality of performance.

Not on the attacked

In the late eighties there were cases of attacks of young people on cadets returning from dismissal alone. The conversation began with a request from a person in uniform to give a cigarette to one of the gang. One day, when Dmitry hurried to the evening building, he met idlers with the same nicotine question. Hooligans did not even suspect that in front of them there was a boxing champion in the past. Dmitry instead of cigarettes began to distribute blows. The gang of young people immediately rushed back and flew away.

Tajikistan

Dmitry Razumovsky, while studying at the border school, wanted to go to Afghanistan, but the military conflict to the end of his studies (1990) was already settled. Then the young lieutenant wished to begin service on the Afghan-Tajik border. Initially, he was deputy head of the outpost, and later - chief of the assault-assault group (DS).

Literate theorist Dmitry Razumovsky (the hero of Russia in the future) calculated every step of the forthcoming operation. This gave impressive results: the group with whom the lieutenant went in search of Afghan terrorists, necessarily found them and eliminated them. The record became six clashes in one day. The thoughtfulness and smooth running of the teams made it possible to save the lives of their wards. During the service at the border in Tajikistan, not a single soldier from the subordinates of Dmitry, although there were a lot of victims.

In 1993, on the 12th outpost attacked the perfume, there were about 300 people. The frontier detachment had only one crew of the infantry fighting vehicle in the reinforcement and was manned by 80%. In this unequal battle, the head of the outpost and Dmitri's best friend Mikhail Mayboroda perished, and another 25 soldiers. Razumovsky regarded the current battle as a betrayal by the higher command, because the situation was reported in time, and orders were not given. A year later, while on vacation, Dmitry Razumovsky learns about the impudent attack of the spirits on the outpost, which results in the death of seven more border guards. Then he decided to avenge his dead friends, giving an interview to Komsomolskaya Pravda that he was ready to serve as "cannon fodder", but only knowing the interests of the state. He publicly accused the superiors and asked: "Where is the concern for the Russians, Russia?".

Pennant

Then already captain Razumovsky was dismissed from service after four years of hard work on the Tajik border. The reason for this was the very justice for which Dmitry fought for life.

Dmitri's wife, Eric, whom he met at the funeral of his friend Mikhail, said that he had a dream to serve in the special unit "Alpha". However, by the will of fate, he fell into another unit - "Vympel", where he received the title of "lieutenant colonel". Dmitry Razumovsky became an object of interest for special forces. The officer's practical experience was studied, and the manuals were issued with his recommendations and instructions.

The service began, where everyone has secret names, faces, can not go anywhere, get sick too. The trip can begin at any time, but where, even the wife should not know about it. Razumovsky demanded from his subordinates to perform the exercises as he himself did in perfection.

The operations of Vympel are confidential, but all those who passed under Dmitri's command were effective and sacrificed. Except for one ...

Beslan, awards

August, 2004. Dmitry was on vacation and was going after September 1 to go to Ulyanovsk to his parents. But then another business trip. One of the schools in Beslan was seized by terrorists on September 1. It was the third day, when in the hands of the bandits there were 1128 hostages. There was an explosion in the school and the storming of the building began. The sniper's bullet hit Razumovsky, he died in battle, as he once wanted.

On September 6 of the same year, Dmitry Razumovsky - Hero of Russia posthumously, according to the decree of the president.

Three years have passed since the tragedy. In the native city of Ulyanovsk, by the beginning of the academic year, a monument to Dmitry Razumovsky was installed in the central square in the form of a running soldier with a child on his hands. Memorial plaques are mounted on the house where the Hero of the Russian Federation was born, and in gymnasium No. 1.
