Biography

The real name of Mystic is Raven Darkholm. She is a mutant from birth and has the ability to reincarnation. That is, the heroine of "Marvel" Mystic can take the form of absolutely any person. About the past, Raven knows very little. However, one can certainly say that the Mystic is from Austria and she is more than a hundred years old (probably another mutation effect).

In the 1920s, the heroine "Mavrel" Mystic first encountered a Canadian mutant, better known as Wolverine. He was in a pickpocket team, which was organized by Raven. Soon Mystic and Wolverine became lovers. However, their relationship did not last long. Raven condemned her own brigade to certain death, and Wolverine herself was pushed out of the train at full speed.

Once the character "Marvel" Mystic takes part in the attempt on the scientist from Berlin. During the mission, Raven meets a mutant named Sabretooth. Between them, the passion is kindled and they enter into sexual contact. Their relationship lasts until the Mystic staged his own death in order to get rid of an obsessive lover. As it turns out later, Raven is pregnant. She gives birth and gives the child for adoption. Nevertheless, she continues to follow her child until she is convinced that the child is not a mutant.

Later, the character "Marvel" Mystic again gave birth to a child named Kurt Wagner, who in the future will become one of the X-Men nicknamed the Night Serpent. The boy's father was an ancient demon mutant Azazel. When Raven had a son, his mutation immediately manifested itself in the form of a blue coat and tail. Because of this, the villagers, in which the Mystic was, thought that the mother and the child were demons. It was for this reason that they decided to lynch over Raven and little Kurt. The villagers drove a woman with a child into a corner. And in order to be saved, she threw the newborn son into the river, and she disappeared, using her abilities.

Brotherhood of mutants

Raven was overwhelmed by the loss of the second child. Because of this, she, on the advice of her friend Fate, decided to adopt a girl-mutant named Anna Maria. The mystic actually loved Anna and cared about her for a long time. In parallel, Raven worked for one of the public services of the United States of America. She quickly rose to the post of deputy in the Agency for Advanced Defense Research and Development. Thanks to this, Mystic gained full access to secrets and the latest technologies in the field of military equipment. Raven used her power for criminal purposes.

Soon Raven gathers the so-called Brotherhood of mutants, which included Bubble, Fate, Avalanche and Piro. Later, Anna Maria joins the brotherhood, which was nicknamed the Scoundrel. However, Anna soon switched to the X-Men, in the hope that they would help her to master her own mutant forces. The mystic was furious, because the X-Men took away the most precious person from her. But soon Raven was able to take the decision of her daughter. Moreover, from time to time Mystic visited Anna at Xavier's estate.

Powers and abilities

Raven is a mutant-metamorph. That is, it is able to change its appearance by moving cells of its own body. Thanks to this, the Mystic is able to take the form of any person.
