The market economy is a special social organization that is based on the doctrine of the division of any labor and the condition that the lion's share of the means of production is firmly entrenched in private hands.

The main principle of such a system is work only for themselves, "every man for himself," all actions are taken to meet their own needs. However, in the end they go to fulfill the needs of strangers. In the end, it turns out that every individual in such an economy works for the benefit of other people.

A market economy is a system where any person is not only the goal of the productive forces, but also his means, as well as the instrument and meaning of the entire activity of the system. Thus, the market controls the entire existing system, directs the actions of each of its cogs, and as a result, everything works clearly and smoothly. However, it should be remembered that the management of the market is not based neither on coercion, nor on violence. Market economy is an area where the state and all its instruments of social coercion do not fit in and do not interfere. It only protects the market if some of its members suddenly begin to act to the detriment of the common system and the harmonious work of all its parts. The state in this example serves as a guarantor of life, rights, private property, health, protects people and the market system from aggressive elements, scammers, criminals and external enemies. Market economy is an organism existing in a special environment that the state creates and supports.

If we refer to the language of Marx, then the market economy is characterized as a structure in which there is no subordination to a single center, there is no one task for the parts of the market mechanism established by someone , and there is no submission to anyone. Each element in such a system is free, does not experience any influence of despotism. Everyone acts purely voluntarily and chooses his role in the overall structure. Well, the market is already directing it and incidentally shows where it is better to apply talents and abilities. Thus, only the market ruled the entire social and social structure.

However, an organization with a more human face is a socially oriented market economy. True, it can not be impeded or confused with the often discussed in world politics and history, but never implemented in the system of social interaction, where there is a division of labor. It can be called differently (communism, state capitalism, socialism), but the property in it is social or state. The point is that the market economy (that is, capitalism) does not combine with the economy of the social. You can not build a symbiosis of them, nor a mixed version, although such attempts are often made.

The modern market economy, of course, takes into account the role of the state. It even possesses a certain property, but this fact does not at all mean a mixture of capitalist and socialist systems.

After all, such property does not change any of the main features of a market economy. All enterprises, all production still play by market laws.

Only the market, not the government, puts everything in its place and decides who, in particular, will be struck by the measures taken by the government, who will be more harmed by the taxes raised by the state, what exactly will happen with production and consumption. That is, the market determines the consequences and determines the conditions of the game.
