Any literate person who has finished at least a school has an idea about the scientist Nicolae Copernicus. This he "moved" the Earth from the center of the universe and "put" the Sun there. On it for a long time everyone was offended, especially the Catholic Church, but the story put everything in its place. But now this is not the issue. Between great discoveries in astronomy, mathematics and other serious sciences, he made another discovery, small, but very memorable. Copernicus invented a sandwich. Yes, it turns out that a simple piece of bread and butter has an author. The fact is that people often dropped bread on the ground and calmly ate it along with all the bacteria. The bread was dark, and the dirt on it was hard to see, only the spread of disease did not stop it. But the same piece of bread, covered with a layer of oil, when falling will collect all the excess on a light sticky layer, it can be cleaned and eat further. In this simple way, Copernicus greatly helped the medicine of that time. And at the same time and cooking for five centuries ahead.

Since then, the sandwich has changed a lot, but still remains a favorite food for many. The sandwich quickly prepares, eats with pleasure, is convenient in transportation. It can be taken to work, on the road, on picnics. Even a festive table can be decorated by making snack sandwiches. Believe me, every guest will certainly try these snacks. After the May abundance of holidays, you can relax a little from the meat, so we will prepare the lean sandwiches today.

For example, sandwiches with bean paste. Finely chopped onions and carrots must be fried in lean oil. Pre-soaked beans welded and in a blender or with a fork, turn into a homogeneous puree. Mix together and spread on neat slices of baguette. From the top decorate with leaves of parsley.

Lenten sandwiches with potato crust. A few raw potatoes to clean and grate on a fine grater, add greens, salt, pepper, squeeze a clove of garlic. All together spread on slices of a long loaf and fry in lean oil stuffing down. After the ruddy crust is formed, you can fry a little on the other side.

Sandwiches are lean with avocado. Take the avocado, peel the peel, remove the stone, pulp together with a clove of garlic and herbs, for example, parsley. Spread on pieces of black bread. Such a sandwich will be not only tasty, but also useful.

You can make plain simple sandwiches: fry a slice of whole wheat bread in olive oil, rub garlic, allow to cool slightly. Top put tomato, cucumbers, lettuce leaves, avocado slices in any combination, sprinkle with fresh herbs and enjoy a delicious sandwich.

Well, if you are a convinced meat-eater, then surely you will like the hot sandwiches. For them, any sausage, sausage or simply cooked meat will do. Pieces of white bread lightly grease with oil, lay on them chopped meat, cut tomatoes from above, lightly grease with mayonnaise, sprinkle with greens and cheese together. Put in the oven, take it out when the cheese melts.

Such sandwiches and on a festive table to put it is not a shame. And in general, many sandwiches can become out of everyday festive, if you make a little imagination when preparing them. Figured chopped small pieces of bread, beautifully laid out stuffing, some olives on top, seized with a skewer - such a snack is unlikely to survive until the third toast.

Yes, and the kid will be happy if his mother makes sandwiches unusual for him, for example, in the form of some funny face: both delicious and paddle.

The main thing is to remember that bread fits well with many fillings, and do not fixate on bread and butter invented by Copernicus, when there is so much tasty food at hand!
