Lcd-TV Vestel Goes Out On A New Technological Level

Authorized representatives of the Turkish manufacturer of household appliances, VESTEL, announced the firm's intentions to conquer the European market of LCD TVs with new LCD-models that support the advanced technology "Pixellence +". This technology was specially developed to improve the standard television analog image to a level of almost HD-quality. The characteristics such as image detail and color transfer are also improved.

The new TV sets have special filters that are designed just for the above-mentioned goals of improving and converting the image. Filters are able to cut off any extraneous "noise", and also analyze the image at the pixel level. Thanks to this, the electronics of the TV accurately determines the correct level of contrast, color and brightness correction, which is necessary for the image. Unique technological solutions, which VESTEL engineers managed to integrate into the final device, make it possible to get a picture of truly unmatched quality.

An integral part of the "Pixellence +" technology, the "Color Core" algorithm effectively solves the problem of color reproduction, which until recently was a real "disease" of all LCD TV models. The fact is that too high a level of color saturation with the use of traditional traditional processing algorithms leads to the loss of minor color shades of almost any multi-color image. To solve this problem, VESTEL engineers have developed a unique system that allows to optimize the color rendering, called "Saturation Logic". This system takes into account the depth, as well as the intensity of the color. Due to this, more juicy, natural and bright colors are achieved.

The new LCD-TV sets of the Turkish company also use the development of its own engineering center, the "Skin Tone Reproduction" processing algorithm, which serves for more realistic transmission of the tones of human skin. This algorithm analyzes the image to see which pixels are responsible for displaying the color of the skin. Based on the results of the analysis, the system divides the general image into different unique color zones, while correcting the possible distortions of the color tone.
