Konstantin Khabensky: Filmography, biography and personal life (photo)

The popular Russian actor of theater and cinema Konstantin Khabensky, which will be discussed in this article, did not at all plan to follow the path of art and creativity. He wandered for a long time in search of his vocation - he studied aviation engineer, worked as a janitor, polisher, street musician. Entering the theatrical Konstantin Khabensky decided at the time when he worked as a montage at the theater, and as an employee of the theater sometimes went on stage in the crowd. At some point, he realized that he liked it, and decided to try his hand at acting as an actor. As Konstantin Khabensky himself recalls, whose filmography is already quite extensive, he did it for the sake of interest - he wanted to check whether it turned out or not. And it turned out well!

The life of a creative person is always connected with the lack of the ability to hide anything from the public - journalists know about every step of the actors, often fantasize about the events in their personal lives. And here there was a way out Konstantin Khabensky! The actor's biography has been described more than once and is available for study to everyone who wants to, but no one knows for sure what can be considered as truth and what is not. A popular actor prefers himself to invent different stories about himself, rather than trust this case to reporters. He does this with success in every interview.

Childhood future actor

Konstantin Khabensky was born in Leningrad on January 11 in 1972. Also, one can consider the information that the actor's parents were far from the art world - the father worked as an engineer, the mother - the teacher of mathematics. In 1976, when little Kostya was only four years old, the family had to move to the city of Nizhnevartovsk to the extreme North. There the future actor lived for nine years. As he recalls, this was enough for him to hate the cold, snow, winter and the song "I'll take you to the tundra."

One of the unconfirmed facts from the life of the actor is that once, while still a young boy, he fell into a sewer hatch. Fortunately, he managed to grab the edge of the hatch and hung so until it was pulled by his mother. According to Constantine, most of all from that ill-fated case he remembered the ant, who kept creeping around him all the time.

When Constantine was 13 years old, he returned with his parents to his native Leningrad, where, at last, he began to live bright and interesting, by his own standards, life. He did not attend sports sections, did not engage in a drama club, but together with a company of young informal people, he often sang indecent songs in subway crossings and managed without a ticket to get to the concerts of Alisa and Shevchuk. In that boy with long hair and pierced ears dozens of times, in the tunic, riding breeches and slippers on his bare foot no one could see the future star. Nobody ever saw. He was considered a lost child with an uncertain future.

Education

After graduation, Konstantin Khabensky, whose biography is now full of various achievements, prizes and awards, did not plan any special feats, he was not even going to enter the university. After the eighth grade, he passed the documents to the aviation technical school (to the faculty of instrumentation and automation), just to get rid of the total control of my mother in school. Having studied for three years, the future actor realized that this is not what he wants to devote his life to, and dropped out of school.

A turning point

In the late 1980s, a youth program under the name "Zebra" was actively developing in the city. Its leaders came up with the idea of uniting Leningrad non-formals with young actors in the experimental theater. The group, to which Konstantin Khabensky was involved, also became a subject. Over time, in the theater of more than fifty people, he and one other guy remained. Khabensky began to work as an assembler and sometimes came on stage in the crowd. At one of those moments, he realized that he was seized by theatrical life, and decided to get an actor's education.

Entering the theatrical

To pass the entrance exam at LGITMIK, which Khabensky chose as his "alma mater of science", a tiny teenager had to after the handsome officer Mikhail Porechenkov. The admissions committee was surprised by the kind of entrant Khabensky, who also chose to read Gumilev's romantic poems "My love for you, a baby elephant born in Berlin or in Paris ...". They took him, as members of the commission recall now, out of pity, the future star in it then could in no way be discerned.

At the institute Konstantin Khabensky found real friends - Andrei Zibrov, Mikhail Trukhin, Mikhail Porechenkov. The actor with nostalgia recalls his student years, but not the study and surrender of sessions, but gatherings at the dacha, songs under the guitar, trips to the old car Porechenkov around the city. Preparing for the exams friends also in an original way - before the literature, for example, each of them read one work, and then they gathered and told its contents to everyone else.

The first role

The youths matured, and gradually their former interests were replaced by Chekhov's diaries, the creation of theatrical miniatures, rehearsals, and preparations for performances. His first serious role Konstantin Khabensky played in the institute play called "Waiting for Godot" (staged by Yuri Butusov). This work was even awarded the "Golden Mask" award, and Khabensky still remembers her as one of the most beloved in her career.

Graduation and job search

Having received a diploma of higher education, the ambitious Kostya went to find work. As expected, the young inexperienced actor was not expected anywhere else. He managed to get a job in the Petersburg Lensovet Theater, where he played predominantly secondary, uninteresting roles. Tired of such a soft life, Khabensky went to Moscow in search of a better part, where he worked for some time at the Satirikon Theater Raikin, until he was invited back to St. Petersburg, but already for the main roles.

The beginning of a career in filmmaking

The first person who offered Khabensky a role in the cinema was Tomas Tóth, the famous Hungarian director. Participation of the actor in his film "Natasha" no one particularly noticed. But the "Women's Property" Meskhiev Dmitry attracted to Habensky general interest. To fulfill his dream of becoming a popular actor, several notable roles lacked. And then the film "Slaughter Force" came to the test, for which Konstantin arrived tired and uninterested in being taken. But ironically, it was approved even without screen tests!

Other works in cinema and theater

The role in "Slaughter Force" brought Khabensky all-Russian fame, he was often invited to other projects. So, for the main role in the play "Duck Hunt" he is invited by Oleg Tabakov himself, the head of the Moscow Moscow Art Theater. Actor brilliantly coped with the task, however, as with other roles in subsequent productions - "Threepenny Opera", "Hamlet", "White Guard".

In 2002, the period begins when the films with Konstantin Khabensky go out one after another and they are looked at by practical ones. For four years the country has seen sixteen films with the participation of Khabensky, among them: "In Motion", "Admiral", "Night Watch", "Irony of Fate", "Day Watch", "Yesenin", "Lines of Fate", "State Councilor" "," Peculiarities of National Policy "and others.

In addition to filming in the movies, Konstantin Khabensky continues to play on the stages of theaters. His filmography now totals more than forty-five works, the list of theatrical roles is also considerable - with the participation of this actor the audience saw about twenty performances.

Self-criticism

Despite the great track record, popular recognition and love, the actor himself is skeptical about his professional skills. According to him, there are only three of his works, worthy of respect: participation in the productions "Waiting for Godot" and "Caligula" Butusov, the film "Mechanical suite" Meskhiev. As Khabensky says, only for the performance of these roles he is not ashamed. Nevertheless, in 2006, the actor was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia, in 2007 he received the Stanislavsky International Award as the best actor, in 2008 he was awarded the "MTV Russia" prize for the best comedy role in the film "The Irony of Fate. Continuation ». For the performance of the role in the film "Admiral" Khabensky was awarded the prize "Golden Sword", the Golden Eagle Prize, the MTV Russia Award.

In 2012, Konstantin Khabensky became a People's Artist of Russia. In 2013, he was awarded the Kinotavr Festival Prize, and in 2014 - Nika Award for Best Actor in the film Geograf Globus Propyl.

Personal life of the actor

Konstantin Yuryevich never liked to bring his private life to the court of the public . Even in the happiest years, he only laughed at journalists' questions about his wife, children, plans for the future. The actor was afraid of articles with the invented details of his personal life, compromising photographs. But all this fell on his head just at the most inopportune moment.

The media learned that the wife of Konstantin Khabensky, whom he met in 1999 and married in 2001, after the birth of his son fell seriously ill. Doctors diagnosed her with a malignant tumor of the brain. Constantine and Anastasia of the Khabensky fought for their happiness as they could. Meanwhile, all periodicals were full of new news about the personal tragedy of one of the most demanded actors of the country.

It became known that in Russia Anastasia had an operation that gave hope for recovery. Right in the hospital room the Habensky were married, hoping for the help of higher forces. But after a while, the condition of Anastasia worsened and Constantine decided to take his wife to Los Angeles to the famous clinic "Cedars Sinai". There, the wife of the Russian actor was made several operations, after which she began to feel much better, and was released home, having prescribed a course of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the relief was temporary, a few months later Anastasia Khabenskaya died. On the hands of the grief-stricken Constantine was the one-year-old son Vanya.
