Julia Bell: Biography

Julia was born in Beaumont, Texas, in 1958. The city is rather big, with a large population density. It is located next to the oil reservoirs. Shipbuilding is developed in it. Perhaps, only the river and the ships allowed the child to be carried away by dreams away from modern skyscrapers and beating ears. She went into the world of drawing and photography. Julia Bell studied painting at 6 colleges and universities. She, apparently, was looking for something. A young woman married a writer Donald Palumbo. His books, sexy and erotic, intrigued her. In the marriage two sons were born, Anthony and David, who later became artists. But once and for all, Julia's life changed when she met in 1989 an artist from Peru, Boris Vallejo. Julia Bell became first his model, then a student, and after the divorce in 1994 - his wife. It did not become a model by chance. She had a cast pumped-up body of a woman who is engaged in bodybuilding. This is exactly what it takes to become a model not for a gentle fairy or nymph, but a determined Amazon. The artist drew her portraits on calendars, where she appears in different images. But her flexible body is always fine, because Julia is currently engaged in yoga, which forms an aesthetically different image. Not powerful, muscular and cast, but plastic, full of grace and nobility. And this despite the fact that she had crossed the threshold in a dozen years.

Job

Since 1990, Julia Bell has painted more than hundreds of fantasy (illustrations and covers), including sci-fi books and magazines. In the early 90's, the artist has an explosion of imagination, and she draws covers for video games. Images of their heroes are sold at incredible speed. First there were the fictional characters of the company "Marvel", which acted in the reality that was known as the "Universe Marvel". Julia was the first to write the barbarian Conan for the comic strip (then in games he was visibly transformed). In this universe, places reflect real cities, such as New York. Her video games show the semi-barbarous world on "wild land" (for example, "The Legend of the Golden Ax"). In this game, the forces of darkness are kidnapped by a golden ax, the king and his daughter. The task is reduced to their release.

Perception of Fantasy

Unconscious and unrealized inner attractions are transformed depending on the author's talent in his own personal experience, which is supplemented by fantasy and imagination. The narrative, where there are catchy fantasy pictures, stirs up excitement in the reader or player. The reader and spectator of fairy tales, especially if it is a girl or a woman, can get an intercessor and a prince, whom she so lacks in reality. Lovers of adventure also respond to fantasy, because in life they do not have enough storms and adventures. Looking at the screen, a person is charged with positive emotions, especially since there are perfectly beautiful and courageous heroes. Thus admiration is caused both by men, and beautiful girls, as they are full of friendly feelings and heroism. In the photo, fitting metal armor sits on a shining blonde as a second skin. No one would refuse to become such or fight for such a girl, because a person associates himself with a knight or a princess. Characters, saving themselves, show that heroism, which is not enough in everyday life. And all this happens in stunningly beautiful interiors.

Duet of two artists

For some time, Boris Vallejo and Julia Bell have ceased to be divided as authors. They together made advertising pictures for such elite companies as Coca-Cola, Nike, Toyota. Julia Bell of the painting writes with astonishing technical realism. In addition, talent and great art are still present. She has a beautiful warrior girl, a cosmic cowboy taming a metal monster.
