Udon noodles with chicken and vegetables, recipe

For 3 servings you will need the following products:

  • Noodles noodles -300 g.
  • Chicken fillet - 250 g.
  • Mushrooms, preferably champignons - 200 g.
  • Peking cabbage - 60 g.
  • Bulgarian pepper - 150 g.
  • Tavern - 150 g.
  • Onion - 100 g.
  • Carrots - 1 root.
  • Potato starch - 6 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil - 100 g.
  • Garlic - 1 slice.
  • Soy sauce - 100 ml.

Steps to prepare:

  1. Cabbage, zucchini, onions, peppers and carrots chop a thin and long straw.
  2. Mushrooms cut into large cubes.
  3. Chicken fillet cut into small strips, zapanirovat in starch and quickly fry in a sauté pan with vegetable oil on high heat.
  4. After the fillet has browned, pour prepared vegetables to it, except cabbage. Fry them with chicken, do not take out the fire and watch so that they do not burn out. Bring vegetables to half-cooked.
  5. Lastly, add cabbage and pre-cooked udon noodles. Prepare the prepared dish and remove the stewpan from the stove. Add the soy sauce, mix again.

Yaki udon tory (udon noodles with chicken and vegetables) turned out well. It remains to lay the cooked noodles in plates and serve the dish on the table. The Japanese eat udon with chopsticks, but you can use a fork.

If you do not have champignons on hand, they can easily be replaced with oyster mushrooms or dry shiitake mushrooms. We advise you to decorate the dish with cilantro greens or sesame seeds.

  • It is best to boil the noodles in chicken broth - so it will get a rich taste and will not be watery.
  • Do not brew udon too long - it will stick together and lose shape, it will look like porridge.
  • Instead of soy sauce, you can use teriyaki sauce.
  • For the preparation of second dishes udon is desirable not just boil, and additionally fry until golden, about 7 minutes.

Udon with chicken and vegetables, recipe number 2

Composition of products (4 servings):

  • Chicken fillet - 700 g.
  • Carrots - 1 root.
  • Noodles wheaten udon - 350 g.
  • Green onions (stalks) - 40 g.
  • Canned corn - 70 g.
  • Teriyaki sauce - 200 ml.
  • Soy sauce - 70 ml.
  • Sesame seeds - 15 g.

How to cook:

  1. Chicken fillet cut into medium-sized slices. Fry the fillet in a frying pan with vegetable oil, do not salt, the fire must be strong. After the ruddy crust is formed, add the teriyaki sauce and continue frying the fillets on low heat.
  2. Carrot and pepper finely chop, then add to the chicken, pour teriyaki sauce. Continue to fry.
  3. Udon noodles pre-boil.
  4. In a frying pan with chicken and vegetables, shift the udon noodles, add corn, chopped onions. If necessary, pour the sauce teriyaki. Stir the prepared dish thoroughly.
