Jam made of red currant: classic recipe
For 1 kilogram of fresh berries you will need:
- 1.2 kilograms of granulated sugar;
- A full glass of clean, filtered water;
- 100 g of aromatic flower honey;
- Peel of one lemon.
Red currant jam: recipe-five-minute
Not every hostess has enough time to cook jam on the previous recipe. Therefore, you can well take as a basis and this way - for 1 kilogram of berries you will need from 600 g to 1 kg of granulated sugar, depending on the acid currant. It needs to be washed and cleaned. Third of berries to fall asleep with sugar and put on the stove, as soon as the juice is allocated, add the remaining berries and boil for no more than five minutes. After hot immediately pour into sterilized jars and roll them up.
Red currant jam: a recipe that does not require cooking
You can call this stock and jam - its excellent taste from it will not get worse. The berries are washed, scraped and chopped with a meat grinder or blender, pour 1: 1 with sugar, although someone adds more, someone and less - everything depends on taste preferences, stir until the sand is completely dissolved and roll into cans. Due to the high acid content, the red currant will not spoil and will remain until the winter.
Currant jam: recipe with banana
You just did not try that, but if you cook red currant with a banana, you will get a sweet and sour, fragrant dessert, which you can serve as a vase to the festive table. Take:
- A liter of redcurrant juice;
- 4 very ripe banana;
- 600-700 grams of granulated sugar.
Juice from berries can be squeezed with a juicer or like this: warm the currant in the microwave for 3-4 minutes, or on a steam bath for 10 minutes. After squeeze out the soft berries juice through the cheesecloth. Peel and clean bananas. Mix in the cooking bowl all the ingredients for the jam, bring to a boil on the stove and cook, stirring occasionally, for 40 minutes. Done - pour into cans, roll them in lids and send them to storage. Whatever recipe you use, you will get a tasty, slightly sour preparation, which will become a natural source of vitamins for your family in the cold winter.
