Isolate for beginners: techniques and schemes. Master class for beginners in isonity

If you like art paintings, but you can not draw, or like embroidered masterpieces, but you can not master a long-term project, then pay attention to it. For beginners, this is quite simple, but no less beautiful needlework - embroidering on cardboard in a certain sequence.

What is it?

Otherwise, this kind of needlework is called thread graphics, embroidery on cardboard, isographic, thread design and image thread. For this hobby, any thread, from wool, cotton and silk, is suitable. Embroidered on certain points, cardboard, plastic, dense material and even iron. The picture is selected either monophonic, or complex from different colors.

It appeared to be annihilated in the 17th century in England. Only the thread chart was not embroidered, but intertwined. Nails were hammered on a board in a certain sequence and laces were sewn on them. Now instead of nails in the basis holes are made with the help of an awl and a pattern is embroidered with a needle.

In Russia, this needlework has become popular in educational institutions. First, for the craft, you need cardboard, thread, awl. And secondly, all the children understand the technique of isonite. For beginners, schemes of figures are taken, and only then they master the subjects.

What is the use of isolating children?

This handcraft is especially useful for senior preschoolers and schoolchildren.

  • The isography can be used in the lessons of labor. Junior classes can create Christmas toys, pendants, bracelets, paintings, and high classes - use as a cheat sheet for color transition in sewing. Since it is important to combine cold and warm colors in a thread design , you need to create harmonious plots and select the thickness of the thread with the base (cardboard, velvet paper, plastic).
  • In the lessons of mathematics, you can also use it. For beginners, when embroidering figures, you can fix such concepts as a circle, triangle, circle, radius, diameter, angle, chord, center, middle, vertex, edge, directions of sides, ordinal and quantitative counting, etc.
  • Children develop abstract and creative thinking, imagination, imagination. At first, schoolchildren perform simple one-type crafts or postcards, and later they can create whole stories.
  • In the process of developing the eye and hand coordination, and also develop such qualities as perseverance, patience, accuracy, attentiveness.

The main essence of the isography

Points are placed on the base in a certain order and then differently colored threads are applied in a certain sequence. As a basis, you can take velvet paper, cardboard, plywood, musical discs, fabric stretched on a frame. As an instrument, an awl, a thick needle or a drill with a thin drill is used. Also, a pencil and a pair of compasses are needed.

All subjects from geometric figures (circle, triangle, angle, arcs) are created, which are embroidered by special technology. Beginners need to master the embroidery of an angle and a circle first.

Izonit: a master class for beginners in embroidering an angle

  • On the basis of draw an angle, which sides divide into equal 6 parts without taking into account the top. Each side must be numbered in mirror order. That is, from the vertex (let's call it point A) we divide the left side by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and the second half of the angle from the point A is numbered in the reverse order: 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
  • Pierce all points neatly with an awl except for point A.
  • Then, embroider the angle along the points from left to right and from right to left: 6-6, 5-5, 4-4, 3-3, 2-2, 1-1.

Since the direction of the embroidery changes, it turns out an interesting pattern.

We embroider a circle

  • Draw a circle with a diameter of 5 centimeters.
  • Divide it into 12 parts.
  • Make punctures at all points along the circumference.
  • Number them as a clock from 1 to 12.
  • Embroider the circle by points: 1-4, 5-2, 3-6, 7-4 and so on. That is, embroider clockwise. As soon as you reach the embroidered fragment, you continue to fill the whole circle, getting triangles (1-5-9, 2-6-10, etc.).

You will have a circle with intersecting triangles. If you take short or long chords (the distance between points), then the patterns will be different. You can fill a circle with diameters. And if the circle is divided into 8 parts, then you can embroider the angles separately and get a star or spiderweb. So from the figures it turns out to be difficult to isolate.

Schemes for beginners: spiderweb

  • Divide the circle into 8 sectors.
  • At each radius, measure the same number of points.
  • Embroider an angle through one sector: a radius with a pattern, an empty corner, a picture, etc. 4 corners are obtained.
  • Then fill the empty corners in the drawing, connecting the segments of the neighboring sectors in the upper and lower points.

Figure out for the beginners

Children can be taught this creativity from the age of five, but in this case, the preparation must be made in advance by an adult. Consider how to make a cockerel. To do this, make templates:

  • An isosceles triangle with 4 points for the beak;
  • Three versatile triangles with 7, 9, 10 points for the tail;
  • One rectangular triangle for the trunk with 11 points, the distance between which is different;
  • A large circle with 24 points for the head;
  • Scallop make of 4 circles, different in size, with 14 and 16 points;
  • The beard is an oval with 14 points;
  • For the paws, draw an isosceles triangle with 5 dots.

Now draw on the wrong side of the cardboard the cockerel from these figures. Beak, tail, paws around the two sides of the triangle to form an angle. From the trunk to the paws draw straight lines with 3 and 4 dots, and divide the angle into two parts to get three "fingers".

Then pierce the holes and embroider the figures separately: first the angles, then the circle along the above diagrams. In this case, you embroider the trunk like two corners: the base and the right side, the base and the left side. Paws also embroider from two angles. Oval embroider like a circle.

Isolate for Beginners: Tips

If you just start to master this needlework, then fix the embroidery of corners and circles with different number of points. Then embroider the figures in different directions. For example, embroider a large circle in one direction, and fill a small circle in the opposite direction.

Then create simple postcards from the shapes. It can be a little animal, and birds, and flowers, and butterflies, and fireworks, and abstract subjects. You can combine figures with ordinary stitches, creating complex pictures. Then you can experiment with multi-colored threads and then go on to create complex patterns.

Thus, among the needlewomen, it is becoming popular to mend. For beginners, there are a number of rules:

  • Nodules do not, but fasten the ends of threads with glue or tape on the wrong side;
  • Markup do on the wrong side of the cardboard;
  • Holes make a thin needle from the wrong side or thick with the front;
  • The smaller the marking, the more refined the pattern;
  • The smaller the pattern, the sharper the needle and the thinner the thread;
  • Mark the same segments;
  • Make your cribs with shapes to see the finished pattern.

Once you understand the technique of isonite, then it becomes easier for you to create your own schemes and see in the usual plots the necessary shapes and lines!
