Is failure in memory a disease or a norm?

Memory is unique and has not yet been studied to the end, so in the future we will have to make many discoveries. Often she plays by her own rules! Scientists say that the main cause of failure in memory is malnutrition. Not systematized meals, malnutrition and overeating - all this leaves an imprint on the state of the human body. The lack of dairy products, fish and meat in the diet undoubtedly leads to vitamin deficiency, which is responsible for brain activity (B12). Take note that if you lose weight, in any case do not deprive yourself of this vitamin.

Another foe of our body, provoking a failure in memory, is our extra weight. The presence of cholesterol in the blood leads to narrowing of the blood vessels, the blood flow is shortened, accordingly, the brain does not work at full strength - it is less saturated with oxygen, and high pressure leads to hypodynamia. Usually these two factors are inseparable from each other.

Another spy of memory is alcohol. Bitter poison has a negative effect on the brain, which is confirmed by such consequences as: foggy vision, slow reaction, stumbling legs, confused speech and a memory failure. All these "special effects" happen after taking alcoholic beverages. It saves only that all these symptoms, which appear after taking only a small amount of a dose of alcoholic beverages, quickly evaporate after the cessation of the intake of alcohol into the body. However, if you drink alcohol very often or in huge doses, their negative effect on the brain cells is noticeable even after the direct effect of alcohol has long been over.

Personally, I'm more inclined to the psychological explanation of the concept of "failure in memory." And I want to be in defense of our memorable mechanism. At once I will clarify that it will not be about the senile changes in memory, but about the elementary rejection of information. Note that memory tries to save its owner from unnecessary stress and psychological trauma, and does it very skillfully. Let's say a girl quarreled and later broke up with her boyfriend. She is ready to accuse him of all sins, in every possible way assuring himself that he is bad and does not suit her at all. However, after a certain time, her brain gives out only the most good, bright and joyful moments. It's a memory trick-she took care of us getting only good emotions.

People who have an accident often do not remember the details of the terrible tragedy. The more stress for the body, the better the memory hides something that we do not need to remember. You see, failure in memory is sometimes even useful: there are things that we better forget. Never complain about your memory, it always helps us, you only need to support it, train and supply with vitamins. Before worrying about the failures in your memory, think about why your body started this game with you. Imagine what a difficult task our brain performs. Short-term memory, permanent memory ... Everything is laid out on the shelves. And we can always extract the necessary information from its depths. Do you think that the failures in memory are a disease? Reflect, whether so it actually. Or it is a natural process based on moral and physiological laws. Well, and if the dips in memory, the symptoms of which are carelessness and forgetfulness, become frequent and unreasonable, consult a doctor.
