Irina Gubanova is a lonely star

Irina Igorevna Gubanova is a Soviet and Russian actress who appeared in more than 30 films. For a long time she was an actress of the Moscow Theater-Studio of a movie actor, she worked on NTV, NTV + and AV-video, duplicating the characters in foreign films, mostly in serials.

Overture

Irina Gubanova was born in Leningrad on the eve of the war. Evacuation, she and her mother spent in the city of Orsk, in the Urals. And after the war, all returned to their native Leningrad. After 2 years, Irina's father left the family. She was only seven years old when this happened. Since then, Mom, Antonina Sergeevna Minaeva, brought her up alone.

At the age of 9, Irina discovered the makings of a ballerina, and she was accepted into the Vaganova Choreography School, which she graduated in 1958. Nevertheless, she did not become a ballerina. While still studying, she starred in her first film with a title that was not very suitable for debut - "An Unfortunate Number." But she got the lucky ticket after receiving an invitation to Lenfilm. Soon Irina received the role of Pauline in the musical film directed by Tikhomirov "The Queen of Spades", replacing the ballet for the opera.

Something about love

A great movie and great love came to Irina almost at the same time. At the film studio, she met with her future husband - Sergei Gurzo.

By this time he had already starred in the Young Guard, where he played the role of Sergei Tyulenin, who instantly made him an all-Union celebrity. Such a quick rise did not pass for the actor's psyche for free, as it often happens. Every fan of his talent, according to Russian custom, considered it his duty to treat his idol with a drink, he himself made a reciprocal gesture, and so on - according to a known scheme.

Ironically, the father of Sergei Gurzo was a famous narcologist, but even he could not persuade his son to begin treatment for alcohol dependence. His former wife, Nadezhda Samsonova, also did not recognize his illness, calling it "domestic drunkenness" and in every way defending the reputation of a spouse out of respect for his talent.

As a result, Gurzo was dismissed from the Theater actor, his wife deprived him of his residence permit, and he was forced to move from Moscow to Leningrad to try to change his life. The rising star Irina Gubanova breathed into him the hope for a change in fate. She took his name in return, becoming for a while Iraida Gurzo. A year later, they had a daughter, Anna, but the family existed for only about seven years (again, this is an "unlucky number").

Irina Gubanova is an actress with a character

The film opera "The Queen of Spades" was released in 1960, and from this moment the artistic career of Irina Gubanova-Gurzo begins. Remarkably played by the actress, the role of Polina attracted the attention of filmmakers, and behind her was the role of pampered and refined aristocrats, princesses and ladies with an alien, "foreign" psychology.

However, in 1963 Irina Gubanova was able to show her talent on the other side. In I. Annensky's film "The First Trolleybus" she played a charming and feminine Svetlana Sobolev who did not want to get an education and get married. Instead, she decided to become a trolleybus driver and found her real vocation in this profession.

The heroines of Gubanova often, differing in external effeminacy and sublimity, in fact showed a strong character or even a certain "devilry". This is Masha Dontsova in the Green Carriage, and Elsa from the Snow Queen, and a number of other images.

Great Luck

I remembered the audience the role of Silicon Sonia, which Irina Gubanova brilliantly played in the film "War and Peace" - an epic created by S. Bondarchuk (1965-1967). She managed to disclose the complex nature of the girl, forced to be on the sidelines and consciously assuming the role of the victim.

The actress could show herself and in a comedy plan: for example, in the musical film L. Kvinikhidze "Celestial Swallows" (1976), she was magnificent in the role of Mother Caroline - abbess of a boarding house for noble maidens. Next to her was a truly stellar company of actors with whom she felt "on equal terms": Lyudmila Gurchenko, Andrei Mironov, Alexander Shirvindt and others.

But whoever Irina Gubanova played, the films with her participation were usually remembered by the audience. However, gradually played her role became less and more, breaks between films - more. But she always tried to express the very essence of the images that the directors directed her. And this is on the condition that Irina did not have a special education.

Very personal

After parting with Sergei Gurzo, Irina Gubanova soon married again. Her elect was A. Kh. Arshansky, who worked in the field of film management. In 1978, he was appointed chairman of Sovinfilm, and Irina moved with her husband to Moscow. Irina Gubanova's daughter stayed with her mother in Leningrad.

In Moscow Irina Igorevna got a job at the Theater-Studio of the actor, having worked in it until the early 1990s. At the same time she was engaged in voice acting on television. The tension was further aggravated by the fact that we had to take care of the second half of the family left in Leningrad.

Epilogue

Soon the actress discovered cancer. However, this news did not break the strong woman - she continued to work on television, giving her voice to a wide variety of characters, as if living with them along with other options for life. In addition, she took part in the scoring of the documentary series "Cold War", which became her last film. April 15, 2000 the actress was gone.

The cause of Irina Gubanova's death is a disease that claimed the lives of many actors. Rarely do people manage to recognize its symptoms on time. To do this, you need to be very sensitive to yourself and take care of your health. The actor does not have time to deal with such obvious things. He does not belong to himself, and, in spite of death, continues to live in the films he left.
