Information support of management in modern conditions of development of a society

Without the use of information today, it is inconceivable to manage qualitatively different systems and organizations, since modern civilization is completely based on the management and interaction of various social groups among themselves. That is why the high-quality information support for management today is an important part of achieving successful leadership and conducting business activities. However, at present we are seeing the result that has been achieved in the course of the technical and scientific progress of the last several decades, and for a better understanding of information as such, we should make a brief excursion into the historical past.

The beginning of the development of the mathematical theory of information was the work of the scientists N. Wiener and C. Chenon, who in the distant 40-ies of the twentieth century defined the concept of information as measures to reduce the certainty of knowledge, depending on the specificity of an event. For a better understanding, this postulate can be compared with the specification of research on any issue, as a result of which we can get the most complete knowledge on a certain topic.

Information support for management today is directly related to modern computer programs, which have reached an unprecedented level of development. The newest nanotechnologies made it possible to create such computers that determine a particular person by voice, fingerprints, the iris of the eye, and so on. Among other things, automated systems have a great influence on further development, since they allow scientists to penetrate ever deeper into the depths of space and into the interior of matter.

Speaking about management, all this has a huge impact on the development of the company, as well as achieving its goals and objectives. Information management provides control over the activities of employees, monitor the effectiveness of their work, take into account internal and external factors of influence on specific people. Moreover, a well-developed surveillance system allows to reliably protect objects from penetration by intruders and ill-wishers, for which also sound signaling and light beams are used.

Also, it is not necessary to link the information management of the organization directly with the latest technological inventions in the field of processing information and ensuring its security. This concept also includes the correct work with information that goes through many stages.

Management of social systems includes the following:

- production of information in the form of scientific publications and studies, discoveries, achievements, experiments and creative activity;

- selection and evaluation of information on the degree of its importance for a particular subsequent action, based on the tasks assigned to the person;

- Analytic-synthetic data processing, which consists in concretization, ordering, filtering, translation, coding and so on;

- search, storage, distribution and reproduction of information, as well as their transfer to specific consumers.

In addition to all of the above, information management support also implies control over the use of data in one or another aspect, as well as compliance with the privacy policy. In today's world, it is almost impossible to keep anything secret, as a result of which industrial and scientific espionage has reached an unprecedented heyday. This should also be taken into account by any manager, especially when introducing new products or providing a service.

Summarizing, one should once again pay attention to the fact that the information management system is an extremely broad concept that includes many scientific characteristics. However, every modern person needs to constantly monitor all changes in the field of information technology, since otherwise there is a risk of simply falling behind scientific and technological progress and not keeping up with the development of modern society.
