Hurricanes in Bashkiria in 2015

Unfortunately, a strong squally wind is not uncommon for the republic. And the hurricane in Bashkiria in August 2014 was not the last. This year, too, brought destruction, though not so strong. What was the strongest hurricane in Bashkiria (2015)? June, for example, was not only hot, but also quite devastating. At the end of the month on Neftekamsk a heavy rain came down with a thunderstorm, hail and squally wind. Bad weather destroyed the trees, which, in turn, seriously damaged the cars standing on the streets. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Weather forecasters predicted a strong hurricane in Bashkiria 09/09/2015. The fact is that on the eve of the disaster the whole country collapsed on the neighboring republic - Tatarstan. There was a strong thunderstorm, wind and hail. As a result, fifteen victims were in hospitals. Similar phenomena were expected in Bashkortostan. Rescuers warned residents about possible disruptions and emergencies, but fortunately, the element passed by.

Why do hurricanes appear?

Under the hurricane is understood as a powerful wind, the speed of which exceeds one hundred and twenty kilometers per hour. Such cataclysms usually occur in the tropics, but they can also form in other places. The most dangerous are hurricanes that occur near the coast. They bring most of all destruction and human victims.

The causes of hurricanes are the same, regardless of where they occur. They usually start because of the difference in temperature and atmospheric pressure in different layers of the atmosphere. For example, this happens when a cold cyclone encounters warm air, the temperature of which exceeds 27 degrees. When encountered, these masses create an area of low pressure, where a tornado is born.

Let's remember what the weather was like, when there was a devastating hurricane in Bashkortostan in August of last year. That day was very hot and humid. Warm air masses collided with a cold cyclone, which came from the Mediterranean, which triggered a natural disaster.

How to behave during and after the hurricane?

Of course, a hurricane is an abnormal phenomenon for Bashkiria, nevertheless natural disasters should not be ruled out here. Therefore it is very important to know how to behave during and after the hurricane. If disaster has caught you in the building, then you need to move away from the windows, turn off the electricity and shut off the gas. The safest are the interior of the house.

On the street you need to stay away from billboards, power lines and light buildings. You can not hide under trees, in dilapidated and damaged buildings.

After the hurricane, a serious danger is represented by broken electric wires, which can be under tension. Also it is necessary to be afraid of old trees, signboards and banners.
