Previously, there were quite a few: Virtual CD, CD Emulator from Paragon, Virtual Drive, Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools. Currently, it can be argued that the invisible opposition won the application for emulating Daemon Tools (DT). But all good has the opposite side, so it is quite clear that the users-beginners began to have a question "how to disable the virtual disk."

When installing DT, it creates a virtual drive in the operating system and assigns a letter to it. Further all is simple: through the interface of the program we insert an image of a disk in the virtual drive and we work with an image, as with an ordinary compact. It seems that everything is clear. But very often beginners in ignorance create in the system unnecessary virtual drives and begin to look for an answer, how to delete the virtual disk. This does not affect the performance, but if the hard drive itself is divided into several logical partitions, a hardware drive is installed, and here a few more virtual ones are added - it's just right to get lost.
