How to reduce a tattoo?

In due time you have made a tattoo, thus perpetuating the name of your love, belonging to a certain circle of people, and, perhaps, just paying a tribute to fashion. But this trend has passed, interests have changed, the work demands to look solid. Girls are upset, not having a clue how to eliminate permanent make-up of eyelids, lips or eyebrows.

Tattooing is not a simple task. Once fashion for a tattoo wave of the US passed: about 20 million Americans are now decorated with a tattoo on different parts of the body. According to polls at the moment, at least half of them want to withdraw what is so lightly pricked by youth.

Similarly, this issue has become relevant in Italy. There's also a fashion for the tattoo gone, and in return a wave of disappointments and a need to get rid of the results of the noisy fashion hobby. Surgeons who deal with plastic surgery do not have a rebound from customers who are worried about the question: how to reduce a tattoo? So the famous professor Baiokko from Rome says that there was no such excitement to remove pins in Italy yet.

There are several methods for eliminating tattoos.

Coagulation method - removal of a tattoo by an electric current, laser beam or plasma by the method of burning out the skin (its surface) together with a pattern. After burning out, a crust is formed, which will disappear on average after 20 days.

There is also a mechanical method. It does not differ much from the previous one. Here the surgeon cuts the layer on the surface of the skin with a milling cutter. Droplets of paint are carefully removed. The method is rather painful, since it is difficult to reduce the tattoo.

Abroad, the great popularity is enjoyed by laser discoloration, as well as the technique by which the skin is transplanted to those areas where the tattoos are located.
More details on the mechanical method, because it is the most common in our country.

The method itself is based on the fact that the dye penetrates the layer under the skin, but is located above the sebaceous glands and hair bulbs. Thus, with the removal of tattoos, the skin area can be restored in the future through the regeneration of those parts that do not contain the coloring matter.

After the tattoo was succeeded, it is necessary to treat the wound surface, the dimensions of which are directly related to the area of the drawing, the depth of the dye introduction, the thickness of the skin cover at the place where the procedure will be performed, the age and sex of the client.

The layer of the skin is determined by the sex and age of the person. Children and women have thinner skin than men. Typically, the thickness is 0.5-4 mm, and, in general, depends on the size of the dermis layer. The dermal layer is relatively less pronounced on the face, but is more noticeable on the back and hips. The epidermis is approximately 0.07-0.12 mm.

The depth to which they penetrate to tattoo is determined by the pigment. For example, the ink is particularly deep, and the pigment of burnt rubber less thoroughly penetrates. Paint can not often penetrate the fat layer (under the skin), and even more rarely - into the epidermis. In order to choose a method for treating a wound after removing tucks, it is necessary to determine the penetration depth of the dye. Therefore, before you understand how to reduce a tattoo, you need to decide how it was done.

Age of the client is no less important factor, which affects the volume and indications during the intervention. The organism of elderly patients has a smaller reducing capacity than, for example, the younger generation. For this reason, the first group of customers at one time remove small sections of the tattoo (up to 200 cm square).

There is one more feature. When eliminating tattoo by this method, the master must additionally capture a little more of the skin. This is due to the following: if you exactly repeat the contour of the tattoo, the scar that is formed in its place will, in turn, recreate the picture or inscription. If you want to learn how to take a tattoo at home, we hasten to warn you. It is very difficult and extremely unsafe. Of course, on the Internet you can find many ways and advice on this subject, ranging from the use of vinegar, iodine and a solution of potassium permanganate and finishing by cutting the top layer of the skin with a blade. However, it should be borne in mind that such methods can lead not only to the formation of an unaesthetic scar, but also to more serious complications, up to sepsis. Therefore, it is best to seek professional help.

Which of the methods you did not use, there will still be a scar. It can be almost invisible white or rude and colorful red. The process of removing tattoos is a very painful procedure, which is often carried out under local anesthesia. Also the removal of tattoos is accompanied by a smell of blood, smoke and burnt meat. Therefore, before you make yourself a "memory for life", think it over carefully.
