How to read namaz for beginners

First of all, namaz is not a simple set of words and gestures, not gymnastics, the alternate actions of which can be repeated. Namaz is a prayer, and the faith of the performer, his sincere intention to exalt God, to praise Him and confirm their loyalty and obedience, is important here. Therefore, only a Muslim, an adult and a person of sound mind, can rise to pray. Although from the outside it seems that prayer is the performance of obeisances (that is, actions), in fact it is a conversion of the believer in his heart to God. Thus, a sick person who is not able to perform kneeling can perform namaz, but a person who does all the actions and utters necessary words, but who does not have faith and readiness, will be considered invalid.

Before praying, it is necessary to purify (to bathe) as much as possible. Standing on a prayer, traditional rules require covering certain parts of the body (shoulders, head). It is advisable not to make it in clothes with images of people and animals and in places considered unclean (toilet, bath, cattle enclosure). This prayer needs to be created in the time allotted for it. Before the ritual, you need to take care of how to begin to read namaz without being distracted by carnal and other needs.

All prayers must be performed, facing the side of Mecca, where the Kaaba is located. If the direction is clear in the mosque, then you must define it yourself at home, to become night prayers. Before you read namaz at home, you need to clear this place and spread out the prayer pad there. Muslims perform prayer several times a day, depending on the time of day, this ritual has another name: "Az-Zuhr" (midday prayer), "Al-Asr" (evening) and "Al-Isha" (night).

So, how to read namaz? All Muslims living in different countries say in Arabic to the prayer. But this does not mean that they should just memorize incomprehensible words and pronounce them. The meaning of words must be clear to the praying, otherwise they lose all action. A novice Muslim should not only be able to say prayers in Arabic and know their translation, but also to understand correctly, that is, to take a true interpretation of what has been said. Therefore, in order to learn how to read namaz, one should turn to a knowledgeable person (teacher, mulla) for help.

Rituals vary slightly within a day, therefore, in order to explain how to read prayer, let's take as an example the daily prayer "Az-Zuhr". It consists of four cycles - the rak'ahs. The call to prayer - Azan - precedes the prayer. When most of the believers have already gathered in the mosque, Ikama sounds, different from Azan only with the phrase "Namaz has already begun." Believers at that time had already bathed and prepared in their hearts for prayer. Women raise their arms to their shoulders, and men touch the earlobes with their hands and pronounce the Takbir "Allah Akbar!" ("Allah is Great!"). Then they put their right hand on the left hand and say the Opening Prayer praising Allah, they come under His protection from Satan and read Surah "al-Fatiha."

Then the believers say "Amin!" And in the 1st and 2nd rak'ahs it is recommended to read at least one verse from the Koran, after which everyone makes a belt slope - that is, they tilt the body forward so that the palms are at the level of the knees, They pronounce the zikr "Subhana rabbiyah-l-azim!". Men touch the ears, women - to the shoulders, say "Allahu Akbar" and straighten up. Standing believers say: "Rabbana wa-laka-l-hamd!" And make an earthly bow (Sujud). It is performed in such a sequence: "Allahu Akbar!" Is spoken, a person kneels down, palms and forehead touch the ground, and in this position one must say three times: "Subhana rabbiyah-l'ala!".

During the group prayer, you need to follow the mullah, not ahead of him, to pronounce the words not loudly, but at the same time so that to hear yourself, always be directed towards the Kaaba. After prayer it is necessary to pronounce the necessary Zikra.
