How to peel the fur

After all, it's not just that it equates to luxury goods. And in order to keep the products from it longer, they need careful and careful cleaning.

In fact, it is not recommended to perform this procedure on your own at home. It is much better to turn over fur garments to dry cleaning, but only if it has a good reputation. After all, there is often a risk of taking your furs from them already spoiled and lost their original appearance.

That's why many want to know how to clean the fur at home. After all, often the pollution is insignificant, so there is no need to carry a thing to the dry cleaners, but it is better to cope with this own forces. But it must be done very carefully and carefully, so as not to spoil it.

Before proceeding with this procedure, you should check whether fur needs to be "deep" cleaned. To do this, pick up a hairdryer and direct a warm (but not hot) jet of air directly to its surface. If the hairs fly loose and easily, forming a small dimple, which disappears after the air supply stops, then the fur is absolutely clean.

But if this is not observed, then this indicates that a lot of dirt and dust accumulated between the hairs. And in this case they significantly "add weight". And then cleaning the fur becomes inevitable, during the procedure you should try not to wet the skin. Otherwise, the skin may coarsen, twist or burst.

Therefore, before applying any special product or any compound for cleaning a fur product, it must be tested on a place that is not noticeable (for example, on the lapel of the hem). You can clean the fur either specially bought in the store means, or by other methods.

There are several ways to clean the fur:

  1. Heated wheat or rye bran must be spread evenly over the fur product, while rubbing lightly into the pile. Leave it for a while. Then shake off the bran, and clean the fur gently with a brush.
  2. You can also use hot sand. The principle is the same, but this procedure should be repeated until the sand, which after shaking is shaken out, will not be absolutely clean.
  3. You can clean and shampoo (ideally - shampoo for cats). Whipped in warm water until the foam state is applied to the fur with a brush or sponge and left for a few minutes. Then it is carefully removed.
  4. Suitable and birch fine sawdust, which is pre-impregnated with turpentine or gasoline, then distributed in the fur, and then brushed off with a brush.
  5. Also, you can independently prepare a special solution from table vinegar, water and alcohol, which is applied and immediately removed using a tissue napkin.

In addition, there are ways how to clean fur is not natural, but artificial. To do this, you can use a mixture of dishwashing liquid with starch or a detergent, namely a gruel from it. After application, these products should dry, and then they are removed with a damp cloth or brush.

Also suitable for the removal of grease stains gasoline or cleaning agents for furniture upholstery and carpets, which must be used in accordance with the instructions. But acetone or vinegar for artificial fur is contraindicated.

Cleaning mink fur has its own characteristics. You can use potato starch, crumb white bread and brewed mango. If these methods are ineffective, then you can prepare a special solution of water, ammonia and hydrogen peroxide. If nothing helps, then with serious pollution it is worthwhile to apply yet to professionals in dry cleaning.
