If the thread is finished, cut off its end from the needle and continue with the new one. No knots are needed, all areas will be fixed at the same time at the end of the job.

When it seems that the thread for the volume is sufficient, the fixing segment is circled several times around the winding and connected by a knot. Then remove the semi-finished product from the device, cut one and the second loop and get a full pompon.

How to make a pompom simple

If there are no devices at hand, and the desire for simplicity is, try to make a similarity of this gadget yourself. It's not difficult at all! It is enough to cut a pair of wide strips of cardboard length of 15-20 cm and a width equal to the diameter of future balls, and then cut them along the middle along, but not to the end, but by about 1.5-2 width.
