How to decorate a fish cut?

Fish cut, as well as fruit, vegetable or meat, occupies an important place on the festive table. All the hostesses are trying to prepare such a dish, even with minimal expenses.

  1. Frozen mackerel - 2 pieces.
  2. The onion peel.
  3. Sugar - 1 tablespoon.
  4. Salt - 3 tablespoons.
  5. Water - 1 liter.
  6. Liquid smoke - 100 ml.
  7. Bottle is plastic.

Recipe

The fish must be thawed, cleaned, the tail and fins cut off, and the carcass must be rinsed well. Next, brew onion husks. To do this, we will fill it with water, and then bring it to a boil, cook it on low heat for ten minutes.

After that, the husks need to be removed and so much water is added, so that a total of one liter of liquid is obtained. Add salt and sugar. Now let the broth cool down completely, and add liquid smoke.

Take an empty plastic bottle, cut the neck. There should fit one fish, and to get two pieces, take a better two-liter capacity.

We'll fill our fish with a mixture, tightly close the hole and put it in the refrigerator for three days. After a while, we'll get it out of the liquid, hang it for a couple of hours. Then grease with vegetable oil and put in the refrigerator. Here's the fish and ready. She has a taste of a fine smoked product, and the color turns out beautiful. From such a carcass you will get a wonderful fish cut.

However, remember that such a product is not designed for long-term storage. It is better to use fish for two days, and then to cook fresh.

How to pickle herring?

Using this recipe, you will always get a good result. So, we will have to purchase such products:

  1. Freshly frozen herring - 1 kg.

To fill:

  1. Onion - 3 pieces.
  2. Water - 10 tablespoons.
  3. Sugar - 1 tsp.
  4. Salt - 2 tbsp. L.
  5. Black pepper (ground) - 0.5 tsp.
  6. Table vinegar (9%) - 3 tbsp. L.
  7. Ketchup - 2 tbsp. L.
  8. Vegetable oil - polstakana.

We will cut the onions into rings, add the products for pouring, all this will be boiled along with the onion. Let the mixture cool down and taste it.

Now let's take herring, brush it, separate the fillets, and then cut them into pieces. Next, we put the fish in a jar or an enamel pot and pour out our fill there. We will remove all this in the refrigerator, and in a day you can safely get herring. She's already ready.

How to decorate a thread?

Like any dish, fish cut can be decorated with vegetables and fruits. Nobody forbids you to combine different products. For example, you can cut roses from cucumbers, radishes, apples. Do not forget about the twigs of greenery - they will brighten the dish.

A beautiful fish cut (the design is shown in the photo) is obtained using lemon and kiwi slices. Moreover, lemon juice is perfectly combined with all seafood, and they are very often used in decorating dishes.

Red or black caviar can decorate the very fish cut, or you can lay small caviar sandwiches to the fish. Boiled shrimp and crayfish look very good. They will add exoticism to your festive table.

From thinly sliced salmon it is very easy to form bright red roses. And from the fillet of herring, you can twist the rolls with lemon and olives inside, having fastened them with skewers or toothpicks.

You can also decorate the dish in the form of a flower consisting of egg petals. To do this, cut the boiled eggs in half, remove the yolks and fill the cavities with red and black caviar, and between them put the boiled tiger shrimps. Believe me, guests will appreciate this beauty.
