Homeopathic preparations - what is it? How to take homeopathic remedies?

Both in Russia and abroad, homeopathic remedies have been increasingly popular lately. What it is? How to take them? How do they differ from traditional medicines? All these questions are of interest to people suffering from any diseases. Our article will try to answer them.

Basic principles of homeopathy

Using homeopathy, people sometimes confuse her with herbal medicine. But the basis for the described method of treatment as early as the end of the 18th century, its creator Samuel Hahnemann, was the statement that this should be treated similar. That is, if, for example, a substance such as quinine, in high doses, causes symptoms in a person, similar to a fever in malaria, then its small dose will help against this disease.

In addition, it is important to know, speaking about homeopathic preparations, that this is a small amount of source material, which is not even measured in milligrams. In homeopathy they talk about "infinitesimal quantity".

For this, the required substance is repeatedly diluted in water and vigorously shaken (dynamized). This procedure leads to the fact that water "remembers" its structure, potential, energy, but it itself is present in the solution in an infinitesimal amount. In some cases, the preparation may not contain at the output of any molecule of the starting material, but only that water that "remembered" information about it.

And one more important law of homeopathy is an individual approach to each patient when creating a medicine for him. It is believed that homeopathy treats not the disease, but the patient himself.

What do homeopathic preparations do? What is it?

Means that relate to homeopathic, in contrast to the usual medications, do not have a specific scope. They can not be attributed, for example, to antiseptic, analgesic or bacteriostatic, because they affect the entire body as a whole.

As raw materials for them, only natural substances of mineral, vegetable or animal origin are used. Perhaps the most impressive is the list of homeopathic medicines made from roots, stems, leaves, flowers or fruits of a variety of plants. But a large percentage of those using venom of animals - snakes, bees or even spiders.

The main plus of all homeopathic remedies is their complete safety for the human body and the absence of side effects that are a scourge of traditional medicine. In addition, they do not cause addiction to the body, and therefore, with repeated administration will act as intensively.

How to take homeopathic preparations

Homeopathic remedies are released in the form of drops, solutions, ointments, but more often they are in the form of granules - small balls made of lactose, sometimes with the addition of sucrose, impregnated with the main curative substance. When using them, several rules should be observed:

  • Do not take the granule by hand - it is better to pour the contents of the jar into a spoon, and then send it to the mouth;
  • Homeopathic remedies do not take after using flavored toothpastes or mouth rinses with a breath freshener - in these cases, you should wait 30 minutes;
  • With the appointment of two drugs should not use them at the same time - make an interval between them for at least an hour;
  • Give the product to dissolve in the mouth - do not swallow or chew it;
  • Do this half an hour before meals or an hour after eating;
  • Stir the drops before use.

In acute disease, homeopathic remedies are taken every half hour or hour (depending on the state of health). Once the desired result is achieved, the medication is discontinued. Incidentally, this is the fundamental difference between them and traditional medicines, which should be drunk in courses, even if the general state of health has improved. By the way, homeopathic remedy with excessive admission can provoke the same symptoms, for the elimination of which it was used.

How are homeopathic preparations stored?

Homeopathic medicines are stored in a dry place protected from heat and direct sunlight. Pay attention to the fact that next to them there were not much smelling substances. Do not keep these funds in the refrigerator, where they spoil from the presence of foreign smells and high humidity.

Homeopathic preparations should not be exposed to electromagnetic fields - that is, they should be kept away from TVs and computers. When traveling, make sure that they do not pass the inspection through magnetic or X-ray detectors.

The most popular homeopathic remedies

In domestic homeopathy, all means are divided into two main groups: monocomponent and complex. By the way, the first of them can appoint only a qualified homeopath. At the same time, he starts from the nature of the disease and the personality of the patient. Such a drug is a drug of individual use, it is made in special pharmacies and it will cost a lot.

Complex homeopathic preparations Do not require prescriptions and can be sold in regular pharmacies. They are often used in traditional medicine. The most popular among them are cough suppressants: "Belladonna" - with a dry spastic cough and "Aconite" - with a dry cough during catarrhal diseases. And with a cold: drops "Allium sulfur" (for liquid discharge) and "Dulcamar" (for the stuffy nose). Hypertonics note the positive effect of the reception of granules "Aconitum".

Homeopathic remedies "Hel" (Heel)

For more than 20 years homeopathic remedies of Hel, the leader in this field, have been sold in Russia and many patients have a positive experience in taking its medicinal products. In total in the Russian Federation more than 60 names of complex means of this firm, being sold through a network of drugstores are registered.

The list of homeopathic medicines produced by her both in the form of granules and in the form of solutions covers a wide range of various diseases. So, for example, with the threat of influenza and catarrhal infections, "Abropernol" is widely used, bronchitis of different genesis and whooping cough are well treatable with Drosera-Homaccord and Dulcamara-Homaccord drugs, And for osteochondrosis, joint diseases and neuralgic processes in the spinal column, a solution for injection "Diskus compositum ampulenum" is used.

Features of sedative homeopathic preparations

Separately I want to highlight homeopathic sedatives. They against the background of traditional sedatives have an undoubted advantage, as they are not addictive and have no side effects. The homoeopathic physician, as already mentioned above, proceeds from the peculiarities of the patient's condition and personality, appointing one or two drugs.

In these cases, preference is given to mono preparations: "Gepar Sulfur", "Kuprum", "Valerian", "Ignacy", "Kalium Bromatum", "Brionia", etc.

But it should be noted that, despite the excellent tolerability of such funds, some of them should not be given to children. For example, only for adults are applied granules of "Avena Comp", "Uspokoy" and "Neurosed", produced in Russia. And domestic preparations "Shalun" and "Babised" are better for giving to children who have reached 6 years.

But drops "Valerianahel" (Germany) are good for children from the second year of life, and the Russian "Passionflower Edas-11" can be used for newborns, but, of course, on the advice of a doctor.

Is homeopathy combined with other types of treatment?

Before you start taking homeopathic drugs, you should know that this method of treatment is not an alternative to traditional medicine and does not compete with it. And this means that homeopathy can not be an obstacle to observation and treatment process in therapists, neuropathologists, cardiologists, etc. Moreover, these specialists often resort to the help of homeopathic remedies, including them in the list along with pharmacological ones.

Remember, when taking homeopathic remedies, that this is a remedy that does not require the cancellation of an already prescribed regular medication or procedure. The only condition that should be followed is a break between traditional and homeopathic remedies. First, they take a chemical preparation, and then, two hours later, homeopathic.

A few more tips in the end

Homeopathic remedies (the names of some of them have been mentioned in the article) can provide unquestionable help to a patient's health, but on condition of their reasonable and correct use.

Remember that the open form of tuberculosis, venereal diseases and oncology with homeopathic remedies are not treated. And the more acute and stronger the manifestations of the disease, the faster the homeopathic remedy will help, and in the case of chronic states of time, much more is required for cure.

In addition, as well as in traditional medicine, do not prescribe drugs yourself! Go to a homeopathic pharmacy with a diagnosis from a specialist. If the homeopath has not prescribed an individual prescription for you, use complex preparations, clearly following the instructions. Be healthy!
