Heating boiler - we make a choice
A heating boiler is a complex device that performs the function of heating a room. Such a device is in every private house. Boilers differ in their technical parameters and cost. Today we can distinguish solid-fuel and electric boilers. Their advantages and disadvantages we will consider in this article.
Solid fuel heating boiler
This device is a container for the supply of coal or wood, a furnace, an ash pan and, of course, a chimney. Its principle of operation is very similar to an old wood stove. Modern coal-fired heating appliances occupy almost as much space as electric heaters. Their main difference is the basic construction, which consists of cast iron or steel. Such furnaces are rather durable and reliable (with proper operation). Steel devices, unlike cast-iron ones, are not afraid of sudden temperature changes, and accordingly, they do not burst. They accumulate well and give off thermal energy.
Advantages and disadvantages
The advantages of this device include low fuel costs, availability of equipment in stores, durability and autonomy - its operation does not depend on the supply of gas or electricity.
As with any appliance, a wood boiler has its drawbacks. To them, first of all, it is necessary to attribute the fact that fuel for it will take up a lot of space in the yard.
Electric heating boiler
Such a device performs the same functions as a solid fuel, it only works on electricity. It has many pluses and little flaws.
Benefits
Such equipment has high performance indicators, does not require additional maintenance.
Perhaps the only drawback is the dependence on the supply of electricity. If the light is off, alas, the boiler will not work.
