From the motor you need to separate the pulley, which is not needed, and then the engine is attached to the container at the bottom with the help of pins that will pull it together.

The bushing on which the knives will be fixed can be made on a lathe. The main thing is that it has a cylindrical shape and a height of not more than forty centimeters.

The knives are fixed with the help of usual water nuts with a diameter of up to 32 mm.

The cylinder is threaded for nuts. To fix the engine on the shaft in the cylinder, you need to drill two seven-millimeter holes, inside of which a thread is made for locking bolts.

Knives made with a bolgar from a saw blade are put on a square, which is obtained by removing the faces on the top of the cylinder, so that a square is formed. Their width is selected, based on the degree of stiffness of the fabric, so that the deflection during operation is excluded. The shape of the knives is of no decisive importance, the main thing is that they are located as close to the bottom of the container, approximately at a distance of ten millimeters.

The support platform of the unit is made of rectangular profiles, which is a pyramid with a truncated top. Its dimensions are determined by the size of the container in which the finished product is already collected.

Grinder grass, homemade or bought in a specialized store, can crush and grind not only the grass, but also various other waste, including root crops for livestock. The main thing is to relate the power of the motor, the strength of the knives with the material to be crushed.
