Gigantic skeletons of people: truth or skillful falsification?

In the Bible, the Vedas and the myths of different peoples, the race of giants who once inhabited our planet is mentioned. In ancient tales it is said that these were giants-atlantes, who relied on their physical strength and challenged the higher beings or God. For that the heavens and punished this race, wiping it from the face of the Earth. Many "grammarians" who want to interpret the sacred texts literally, constantly looked for evidence to these quotes. From time to time people stumbled upon huge vertebrae or fragments of other remains of large prehistoric animals. These findings gave food for speculation, as if they were giant skeletons of people.

His contribution was also made by adherents of the hypothesis of extraterrestrial (extraterrestrial) origin of life on Earth. But even more heated public interest in the ancient giants of the near-scientific publications, from time to time posted articles about supposedly sensational discoveries. In order not to be considered unfounded, they also published pictures from the site of finds, on which the skeletons of gigantic people can be clearly seen. Photos showed the resting remains of a well-preserved giant, and next to it - small figures of archaeologists. Based on the average growth of modern people, a person considering such a picture can easily imagine the growth of the deceased - about 20 meters.

However, a strange tendency is alarming. Despite the various regions in which allegedly made the finds of skeletons of giant people - India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Greece, South Africa, Portugal and Kenya - all occurred in one pattern. The remains came across accidentally, during geological exploration or when laying roads. Immediately at the site of the excavations were the military, which cordoned off the region and hid the find from the eyes of the general public. So in the hands of scientists there was no other evidence, except for a picture taken from a helicopter.

At the same time, both articles and photos, allegedly confirming the finds, multiplied. The giant skeletons of the people were then three meters, then eight, then a record 24. Besides, as (as if the photographs seemed small), clay tablets began to be found in the place of burial - in Sanskrit, then in Arabic - that the giants belong to one or another The ethnic group mentioned in the Vedas or the Bible. The inscriptions, of course, were also confiscated by the evil military, for some reason interested in hiding the historical truth.

Finally, National Geographic in 2007 conducted its investigation of one of the shots. It turned out that the archaeological expedition of Cornell University served as a backdrop for excavation, during which giant skeletons of people were found. However, in fact, in the town of Hyde Park, New York State on September 16, 2000, scientists found not the remains of an ancient giant, but fragments of a skeleton ... a mastodon that lived 13,000 years ago.

Soon the author of the "sensational snapshot" was discovered. It turned out to be some kind of Iron Kite. And this man did not want to mislead anyone. He simply sent his montage to the graphic design competition, which was held by one of the sites. And even got a reward there - the third place. The contest was attended by a variety of masters of photoshop, who submitted to the jury their work - frankly ridiculous to such here "almost serious." In 2007, the National Geographic Society issued a statement that no remains of giants were found, that the giant skeletons of people are a myth and falsification of esoteric people.
