Club career

Roman Sharonov is a pupil of the Lokomotiv children's and youth school (Moscow). From 1993 to 1997, he was listed on the team of "railroad", speaking in a duplicate of the club. For four years, Roman and could not get into the main team, or play at least one official match. Not seeing here for himself a further perspective, he left for China.

The Chinese epic for the player was an adventure. Having won 1 fight for the club "Fuabey" (representative of the second league of the championship of China), Sharonov returned home. The following year and a half he played for the Krasnoyarsk team "Metallurg". This mediocre club performed in the second Russian division. But, having strengthened the back line by a solid defender, the team sharply went up. The next season, "Metallurg" represented the League of FNL. To this success of the club, in no small measure, "put a leg" and Sharonov.

Roman, having played the first half of the season of 1999 for the Krasnoyarsk club, concludes a contract with the team "Rubin", serving for that period in the first division of the championship of Russia. In 2002, the Kazan club became the winner of the first division, getting the opportunity to debut in the league of the strongest teams of the Russian championship.

His first match in the Premier League Roman Sharonov played only on March 16, 2003. Soon he was noted and his first goal scored. His debut goal took place on June 11, in a meeting with the Moscow "Locomotive". The meeting ended in a draw. The irony was that just one point and did not have enough "railroad" to get ahead of "Ruby" in the championship of 2003. According to the results of the championship, the Kazan club, debutant of the Premier League, took the honorable third place, ahead of the Moscow team by one point.

In 2005 Roman's contract with Rubin was over. Strangely enough, the parties could not settle the conditions for the extension of the agreement, and Sharonov left the team. The next place for further football career, he chose the team-debutant of the Premier League Grozny "Terek". With this club Roman signed a contract for 2 years. The team was so unprepared for the competition that it took the last place at the end of the championship. Next season the football player was obliged to hold in the first division.

In this league, he played and the next year, as a player in Yaroslavl "Shinnik." It was the third and last club (after Metallurg and Rubin), to which Sharonov helped to rise in the class. Entering the team in the Premier League, the player unilaterally breaks the agreement with the club (non-compliance with the terms of the contract) and returns again to "Ruby".

And it must be the same that again, in his first match for a new-old club, Roman scores a goal for the same "Locomotive". Moreover, this ball is the only one for the football player in that season. It was then that the capital appraised something that it had overlooked many years ago, failing to discern in Roman Sharonov his playing potential. Proposals from "Spartacus", "CSKA", "Locomotive" will arrive later, when the player will play in the Russian team. But now the player himself will not burn with the desire to play for the capital's teams.

From 2008 to 2014, Sharonov defended the honor of the Kazan "Rubin". During this period, he spent more than one hundred fights, scoring five goals at the opponents' gate. In April 2011, Roman played the 200th match in the club in the national championship.

Since 2009, the player increasingly began to pursue injuries. In December, he suffers an operation on his knee (rupture of cruciate ligaments). Unfortunately, such injuries very often are pursued by the best players who do not spare themselves on the football field. From this galaxy and Roman Sharonov.

Training, light exercises, swimming pool visits and watching football matches on TV is all that Roman had to do in the ten-month recovery period. And yet he managed to return to the football field, pleasing the fans of the "Rubin" for another four years with his game. In this club he finished his football career. After training for a while team "Ruby-2", he moved to administrative work. Currently holds the position of deputy general director for sporting matters of the club.
