Armenian winger Aras Ozbiliz

Aras Ozbiliz is an Armenian footballer born in Turkey and living in Holland. Now he is in favor of the Turkish "Besiktas". The 26-year-old is the universal attacker. Aras Ozbiliz prefers to play as a right winger, but if necessary he can play on the left flank, as well as in the center.

Aras Ozbiliz was born on March 9, 1990 in Turkey to an Armenian family. His real name is Zbilizian, but because of the place of birth, his parents adapted it, turning it into Ozbiliz. The family moved from Turkey to Holland, where five-year-old Aras joined the football academy of the Holland club, where he spent three years. Only in 1998, an eight-year-old boy was seen in the Amsterdam "Ajax", where he was received. As a result, until 2008, the guy was in the club system, speaking for youth compositions of different age categories, and when he was 18 years old, he was signed a professional contract. Two years, Aras Ozbiliz spent in the club's double, since he was not even allowed to enter the base. But in 2010 he still managed to make his debut for the adult team of Ajax, playing in 20 games and scoring one goal. The next two years, an Armenian with Dutch citizenship was constantly on the bench, but at the same time did not get any practice in practice: he played just 17 games in two seasons. But in the summer of 2012 Krasnodar "Kuban" wanted to pay three million euros for the player, and he moved to Russia.

Going to the "Kuban"

In the new club, Aras Ozbiliz, whose biography began to unfold much more rapidly than before, began to play much more often. In just one season he went on the field 26 times, scoring nine goals. This young footballer drew the attention of the more titled Russian club - the Moscow "Spartak". As a result, in summer 2013, the Armenian moved to Moscow, where he began to speak for a new club. How much did Aras Ozbiliz cost? "Spartacus" paid for the winger eight million euros, and he decided from the first season to prove that it is worth the money.

Playing in Spartak

The first season in "Spartacus" Ozbiliz spent perfectly: he played thirty matches, scoring in them four goals. However, then he was struck by a serious injury, which led the player out of the game for a long time. But this problem did not end there. When Aras recovered from the injury and was ready to play, the club already had a new coach, who by nationality was a Turk. And he sent the player fully ready for the game in a double, referring to the fact that he did not fully recover from the injury. Ozbiliz tried in every possible way to prove his worth, but the new coach was adamant, with him the Armenian entered the field only ten times in almost two years. As a result, Aras demanded to put him on a transfer, and the coach accused of Armenophobia. As a result, in the winter of 2016, Ozbiliz left Spartak, joining Besiktas, who paid him a half million euros.

Rent in "Rayo Vallecano" and return to Turkey

Immediately after the signing, Ozbiliz went on a lease to "Rayo Vallecano", as he could not start playing for "Besiktas". But for six months in Spain the Armenian came on the field only in three matches. But in the current season in the Turkish club the situation has not improved: Aras appeared on the field only once, and was replaced by seven minutes.

National team appearances

In the national team of Armenia, Ozbiliz debuted in February 2012 in a match against Canada, in which he immediately scored a scoring goal. Since then, he played in 56 games, scoring 8 goals and 14 assists. The last match, in which Aras took part, was held in October 2016 - it was a game against the Polish national team, in which the Armenians lost 1: 2. Before the rupture of the spinal cord, received in 2014, and the ensuing recession, Ozbiliz was one of the leaders of the national team, but since then he has never been able to again become a player of the base.
