It should immediately be noted that the dosage for the child, especially if it is less than 12 years, should be determined by the doctor individually. Below are only recommended doses.

• Children from three months to two years of age need to take 125 mg of amoxicillin twice daily.
• If a child is two to seven years old, then he needs to take 125 mg of amoxicillin three times a day.
• Children, the age of which is from 7 to 12 years, take 250 mg of medication three times a day.
• Children with age more than 12 years are allowed to take 500 mg three times a day.

If necessary, the doctor has the right to change the dosage. For example, in severe or chronic diseases, the dose of antibiotic can be doubled. The tablet should be taken immediately before meals, with water. If necessary, it can be dissolved in 100 ml of boiled water.
