The coat of arms can be conditionally divided into three main parts:

On the green field this belt is made in silver, on silver - in black. Above the shield is a crown of five golden towers with three-pointed teeth.

The shield holders are two black sables that support the shield from the right and left sides. From the mouths of animals can be seen red tongues. Claws, noses, throats and the inner part of the ears of silvery sables.

At the foot of the coat of arms, a three-colored ribbon is unfolded, along which along the entire length (parallel to the wave) there are strips of green, azure and silvery colors. Green and azure are separated from each other by a thread of silver color. In the center of the foot are crossed two black arrows with red feathers and tips. Above them is a red onion. This is how the coat of arms of Novosibirsk looks.
