Feeding trough for fishing - neat feeding

The fishing trough is used for almost any fishing. This is a very convenient device in order to be able to gently feed the fish at a distance from the shore. The first feeder for fishing, which appeared almost half a century ago, was a so-called "cage". Its name was received due to the fact that it was made of pieces of wire fencing.

It was quite bulky and cumbersome. Today, the fishing trough has acquired a more refined and beautiful appearance, but has not lost its purpose and name. Its main functional property is that the fish food stuffed into it slowly emerges through its leaky "body".

"Cage" and today throughout the CIS is the most popular container for bait. However, modern varieties are already made of steel wires, which are usually thinner than their ancestors. In addition, the appearance has changed: today's fishing trough is painted, and the load is pressed into its base.

This device has many different sizes and shapes, in addition, it is provided for different conditions of fishing. Today, plastic versions of the "cells" are also produced, used mainly in shallow water and in standing water bodies.

The plastic feeder for fishing can be of two types: open and closed.

The latter has only a few holes in its body and is intended for delivery to the point of catching complementary foods of animal origin - bloodworms, dung worms, sponges and others.

Many experienced fishermen know how to make a fishing trough. These are quite heavy devices, so they quickly sink to the bottom of the reservoir, where they remain throughout the fishing season. The fisherman can periodically fill it with the same bait, which he catches. Usually the feeders are in the immediate vicinity of the hook, so the feeding should be done very carefully, especially in places where the flow is rapid.

A properly assembled set of equipment makes it possible to throw a container fifty or more meters high, which gives the fisherman a significant advantage when the fish feed far from the shore in the lake or fairly wide rivers, where other methods are not possible.

Homemade fishing troughs are made mainly of plastic bottles. However, they have one drawback - they are thin. Therefore, some anglers use more dense materials, for example, folder-binders. Even in this design a small strip of lead is used, as well as wire.

If the fishing trough is made from a bottle, then from it you need to use a scissors to get the right cylinder, on which the holes are made with a soldering iron. And the lead assembly is made so that the final weight of the device is almost two hundred grams.

When preparing the feeder, it is not necessary to take a plastic bottle as a starting material. For this purpose, and any plastic box, for example, from the film stored in the closet. Some inventors use for this purpose female hair curlers, which already have factory holes.

Such a homemade fishing trough usually works no worse than the factory trough.
