At the same time, it occupies neither vertical nor horizontal position. In more detail about the walls of the vagina, they consist of several layers and have a thickness of about 4 mm. This includes the inner multilayered epithelium, or, as it is also called, the adventitial, consisting of loose tissue. And they distinguish the front wall, as well as the back half of the vagina, which are connected together.
