Omission of the uterus: symptoms and treatment, reviews, photos, exercises

According to medical statistics, after 60 years, more than fifty percent of women have a history of a disease such as uterine prolapse. Symptoms and treatment, reviews about different methods can be found very different. What can we do - agree to an operation or trust the people's means - we will understand.

What happens with prolapse?

Omission of the uterus (prolapse) is a pathological condition in which the body of a woman's bottom of the cervix due to the weakening of her muscles and ligamentous apparatus is shifted. It is manifested by a feeling of discomfort, drawing pains, abnormal discharge from the vagina and a disorder of urination. If the process is started, it is possible that the uterus will fall out partially or completely. Thus, in spite of the fact that this pathology is quite common, cervical ovulation, symptoms and treatment, reviews about different approaches to which may be different require careful and serious attitude.

Normally the uterus is placed in a small pelvis at an equal distance from its walls. In this case, behind her is the rectum, and in front - the bladder. Omission of the uterus is most often diagnosed in women whose age exceeds 40 years. The leading factor in the development of this disease is a violation of the coordinated action of the mobile abdominal muscles. These include the diaphragm, the muscles of the anterior wall and pelvic floor. At the same time, their ability to keep organs located in the small pelvis (uterus, its appendages, intestinal loops) in a physiologically correct position decreases.

Their displacement occurs. Disturbances occur due to damage to the pelvic floor. The cause of this can be trauma, which the woman received during childbirth, repeated stretches, ruptures of the perineum, lifting of weights, disruption of innervation. All this can cause the uterus to fall after giving birth. Symptoms and treatment in this case will be somewhat different from the pathology, manifested in more mature age.

When the muscles of the pelvic floor are weakened, under pressure from higher organs, the uterus and its appendages gradually shift downward. At the same time, its physiological position, in which the uterus rests in front of the bladder and bones of the pubic lobe changes. In the future such a shift leads to the formation of hernial gates in front or behind the uterus. Since weakened or damaged muscles are unable to hold the uterus in place, there is a displacement first of the anterior vaginal wall, then the entire organ and its appendages. Often these processes take place imperceptibly and take years. That is why so many elderly women know perfectly well what is the omission of the uterus, symptoms and treatment. Reviews in 65 years about him can leave almost half the women of this age. Often the disease lasts more than one year.

Causes leading to omission

As with all diseases, there are a number of reasons for the omission of the cervix. Symptoms and treatment are described in detail by doctors. The carried out researches have allowed to reveal the most serious of the reasons of occurrence of disease.

  1. First of all, it is a complicated birth. After them, women are most likely to have muscle damage located on the pelvic floor. The cause of this may be ruptures of the perineum, a fetus with a large body weight, obstetric manipulation.
  2. Surgical interventions on the genitals.
  3. Congenital malformations of the pelvic region.
  4. Neurological disorders that cause damage to the innervation of the diaphragm.
  5. Deficiency of hormones (in particular, estrogen), which develops after the onset of menopause.
  6. Connective tissue dysplasia.

Risk factors

In addition to the above reasons, there are several other factors that increase the possibility that a woman will eventually have a drop in the uterus. Symptoms and treatment, reviews and recommendations of doctors about different methods of therapy should be necessarily studied if there is a suspicion of the disease. Risk factors include:

  • Lifting weights and heavy physical labor;
  • Numerous genera;
  • obesity;
  • heredity;
  • Tumors in the abdominal cavity;
  • Increased pressure in the abdominal cavity, resulting from chronic constipation, paroxysmal cough;
  • Elderly and senile age.

Stages of the disease

In the development of pathologies such as ovulation of the uterus (symptoms and treatment, feedback on the therapy we will be studied), five stages are distinguished.

  1. The genital gaps are gaping, the walls of the vagina are slightly lowered.
  2. The walls of the vagina are lowered, both the bladder and the rectum are involved in the process.
  3. The cervix is lowered to the level of the entrance to the vagina.
  4. The cervix is located below the entrance to the vagina (incomplete fallout).
  5. The uterus falls completely, turning the walls of the vagina.

Symptoms

As already mentioned, this pathology is most often manifested in adulthood, and hence the omission of the uterus (symptoms) and treatment in the elderly is becoming a more urgent problem than in women under forty. This is also related to the fact that it is not possible to identify the problem at an early stage. As a rule, the only sign that can disturb a young woman in the early stages of prolapse (lowering) of the uterus is a decrease in the quality of sexual intercourse and a constant aching pain in the lower abdomen. As the disease develops, the pain becomes acute, with pain in the lower back. In addition to the pain syndrome, a woman is worried about frequent urination and frustration in the bowels. Externally, the disease manifests edema and microcracks in the perineum, which are formed due to constant friction and irritation.

As the disease develops, pelvic dysfunctions join the symptomatology. These include urinary incontinence, which can be triggered by sneezing, laughing, coughing. Violated the work of the intestines. This can be manifested by constipation or the development of colitis (inflammation of the large intestine, which is characterized by constipation, alternating with diarrhea, abdominal pain, weakness). The most unpleasant consequences associated with the omission of the uterus are the incontinence of stools or gases.

At the last stages of the disease there is a feeling of loss of the uterus in the perineal region. There is ulceration, inflammation and atrophy of the mucous membrane of the organs, which are located in the small pelvis. Varicose veins develop not only the uterus, but also the bladder and intestines. However, despite such pronounced external manifestations, the pains are usually not too intense. Rather, a woman suffers from an emotional disorder, feeling "disabled." There are cases when women hesitate for years to seek help, thereby exacerbating the disease and what could be remedied conservatively had to be treated with surgical intervention.

Diagnostics

As a rule, the diagnosis of uterine omission is not difficult. A gynecologist can determine it visually while examining a woman. To do this, she is simply offered to strain. The difficulty is that if the disease is in its early stages, it is difficult to "spot" where exactly the defects are localized - on the back or on the front wall. In this case, ultrasound of the small pelvis, cystoscopy. In addition, to exclude infection, take smears on the flora, bacteriological culture, material on cytology.

Conservative treatment

Like diagnostics, they are individual with such pathology as uterine prolapse, symptoms and treatment. Reviews after delivery can also be different. In some cases, defects are minor and when straining the organs do not appear outside the entrance to the vagina, and complaints are absent. In this case, treatment is not carried out at all or a set of special exercises is prescribed.

In the case of more advanced pathology and if there are contraindications for surgical intervention, use the uterine rings (pessaries). They can be made of silicone and placed in the vagina for a long time. Another type of uterine rings is made of rubber. When using such products, to avoid bedsores on the wall of the vagina, a woman must take them off at night, and in the morning to install again. Pessaries can have a cup shape or a ring shape. Their choice depends on the degree of prolapse.

To ensure that the ring does not cause discomfort to women with menopause, recommend to use with it a cream containing the hormone estrogen. After the right size and optimal shape has been selected, the doctor instructs the woman to install and remove the ring on her own. The schedule of control visits to the gynecologist is developed individually. Usually, first the examination is scheduled every week, then - in the absence of complaints - every six months.

The use of the uterine ring helps to prevent the prolapse of the organ in such a pathology as uterine prolapse. Symptoms and treatment, about which you can find a variety of reviews, we have studied. But it should be remembered that only surgical intervention will help to solve the problem radically.

Surgery

To date, many methods have been developed to remove the defect of the supporting structures of the uterus, and when selecting them, not only the stage of the disease but also the age of the patient are taken into account. More often than not, young women planning to have children perform the fixation of the uterus to the ligaments or fasciae located in the small pelvis. Another method (colporaphy) helps to prevent the loss of the walls of the vagina due to excision of "excess" tissue and stitching the legs of the perineal muscles. Women of advanced age in case of complete organ failure recommend extrusion of the uterus. This method allows to completely solve the problems arising at the last stages of such pathology, as uterine prolapse. Symptoms and treatment, reviews at age 65 differ from the characteristics of the course of the disease at a younger age, often the treatment consists in the complete removal of the organ through the vagina. In addition, during this operation, the doctor has the opportunity to make a back or anterior plastic of the vagina or to correct the intestinal hernia.

Omission of the uterus - symptoms and treatment. Gymnastics

In the forties of the last century, the gynecologist A. Kegel developed gymnastics, which allows to strengthen the muscles of the perineum. These exercises help regulate sexual functions, recover with various disorders of the genitourinary system and contribute to the treatment of rectal pathologies. In addition, the complex perfectly helps to correct violations occurring in the early stages of such pathology as uterine prolapse (symptoms). And treatment, the reviews of the exercise are called quite effective, with the regular execution of the complex begins to quickly bear fruit. Also these exercises serve as an excellent prevention of blood stasis in the small pelvis and inflammation of the organs of the reproductive system. To carry out such gymnastics, you must consistently perform several actions.

  1. Strain the muscles as if you want to interrupt the act of urination. Slowly count in this position to three and relax. Repeat 10 times.
  2. As soon as possible 10 times to strain and relax the same muscles.
  3. It is necessary to stiffen (as in childbirth or stools), not only the crotch muscles will be strained, but also some abdominal muscles as well as the muscles of the anus. Also repeat 10 times.

The complex should be performed at least five times a day. Gradually, adding 5 repetitions in the exercises weekly, bring the number of repetitions of each exercise up to 30 times. This is not so difficult, because you can do them anywhere - sitting at your desk, at home on the couch or behind the stove. The position of the body (sitting, standing or lying down) also does not affect their effectiveness. However, it must be remembered that the result will only be visible after a certain time, especially with such a disease as cervical ovulation (symptoms). And treatment with the help of exercises is important to spend at least five times a day constantly, without taking breaks. Otherwise, the effect of the exercises will be significantly reduced.

Omission of the uterus, symptoms, treatment with folk remedies

In the case of conservative treatment of prolapse you need to be prepared for the fact that this process will take quite a long time. In addition, to achieve maximum results, it is not necessary to neglect and folk medicine. Of course, counting only on herbal decoctions and infusions is not worth it, but against the background of the therapy and exercises prescribed by the gynecologist, their use will help to overcome the disease more quickly.

  1. To prepare a decoction, you need to cook 50 g of lime-colored flowers and leaves of lemon balm or mint, 70 g of white and 30 g of alder root. A tablespoon (with a slide) of the resulting mixture should be poured with one glass of boiling water. After the broth cools down, it is taken 0.5 cup three times. Duration of admission is 21 days, then take a break for 14 days. The number of such courses is unlimited.
  2. One part of the astragalus root is poured with nine parts of vodka and insisted 10 days. After this, tincture is taken on a teaspoon after eating in the morning and evening. You can do this by dissolving it in a small amount of water, just by washing down. The course is 30 days, then make a fourteen-day break, after which the course is repeated. Attention motorists - although the dose of alcohol in the tincture is minimal, you should not drive at least 40 minutes after receiving it.
  3. You can combine the reception of two decoctions. Note that they are prepared separately, but for the effectiveness of treatment should be taken one after another with an interval of not more than 10 minutes. To prepare the first decoction, 30 g of plantain is poured into 500 ml of water and brought to a boil, then boil for 20 minutes on low heat. Then add 3-4 tablespoons. Spoons of honey and boil for another 10 minutes. In a chilled and filtered broth add a tablespoon of celery seeds and mix well. Take one pile three times a day. To drink it you need half a glass of broth from the following herbs: a bug, calendula, St. John's wort, a turnip, a bed in equal parts. They are poured into a tablespoon of herbal mixture of a liter of water, brought to a boil, cooled, filtered.

Thus, today it is quite possible to defeat such a disease as omission of the uterus. Symptoms and treatment, reviews, photos, we tried to consider as much as possible. The conclusion can be made one: recovery is a rather long process, but exact implementation of the doctor's recommendations and patience will help restore the habitual quality of life.
