Favorable days for pregnancy: methods for identifying them

In the male body, spermatozoa mature every day, and the egg cell in a woman - once a month. It is the maturation of the egg and its release into the uterine cavity that is a good time for conception.

The most basic process in the body of a woman that allows her to become a mother is called ovulation. This is the time when the egg leaves the uterine cavity and is ready to connect with the sperm. Two days before ovulation and two days after it - the most favorable days for conception. That is, in fact, four to five days a month a woman can become pregnant. The most important thing remains to calculate the favorable days for conception.

Some symptoms of ovulation in a woman are able to determine yourself. Although these are rather subjective signs, but in conjunction with more accurate methods, they allow you to follow the menstrual cycle and determine the favorable days for pregnancy.

Sometimes in the period of rupture of the follicle and the release of the egg from it, a woman may feel a pain in her stomach. These painful sensations are short-lived and last from a few minutes to 2-3 hours. But this method of determining ovulation is very unreliable, since such pains may not be in every cycle, and can also accompany any gynecological diseases, and not ovulation.

Some representatives of the weaker sex experience increased libido during the release of the egg.

A few days before ovulation, the nature of the vaginal discharge changes (they become mucous, more abundant and transparent). This is due to hormones, the cervix during this period gets rid of the mucous plug.

When examined in mirrors during the ovulation period, the doctor may notice a "pupil symptom". On favorable days for pregnancy, mucus is transparent and creates a pupil effect. After the release of the egg from the follicle, the mucus becomes thick and less abundant.

The most common and simple method for determining ovulation is the calendar method. It is based on the fact that ovulation occurs fourteen days before the end of the cycle, regardless of its duration. After analyzing the duration of several menstrual cycles, you can more or less accurately determine the favorable days for pregnancy.

Another method of calculating ovulation is the method of measuring rectal (basal) temperature. Basal temperature is the temperature in the rectum, which must be measured every morning at the same time. Based on the results obtained, a graph of rectal temperature measurement is constructed. The graph of the normal menstrual cycle has two phases: in the first half the temperature has lower values, and in the second half - higher. Before the curve curve goes up (to the second phase), approximately in the middle of the cycle, a temperature drop of 0.5-0.7 degrees is noted. On this day (or the next) ovulation should occur.

Now on the shelves of pharmacies you can find tests for ovulation, which are based on the definition of luteinizing hormone in the urine. Two to three days before ovulation, the level of this hormone increases, which can easily be determined by means of test strips. Usually there are 5 tests a woman spends every day. This method can determine the favorable days for pregnancy.

The most accurate method of determining ovulation is ultrasound. For several days of the cycle, the doctor uses ultrasound to determine the maturation and growth of the follicle, as well as its rupture and release of the egg. This method is not assigned to everyone, but only to those who have problems with ovulation and conception.

As you can see, it is not so difficult to determine the time of egg release. The main thing is to know your organism and listen to it. And medical methods can provide invaluable help. In most cases, the definition of ovulation is of interest to women who can not become pregnant for a long period. But any woman can dream of taking out and giving birth to a healthy child.
