Before you start doing exercises to improve vision, you need to get an ophthalmologist's advice. Exercise is contraindicated for people with retinal detachment, they can aggravate the problem. With a strong strain of the oblique muscle of the eye, retinal rupture, hemorrhage, and, as a result, partial loss of vision and even blindness can occur. Another contraindication is any operation before the eyes. After surgery, you need to wait at least six months, and only then you can practice exercises to improve your vision.

Before moving on to the basic set of exercises, eye muscles need to be relaxed. It is done this way: hands palm rubbing one about the other until they become hot, and then apply to the closed eyes, no ray of light should penetrate through them. The head is supported by hands and completely relaxed. Exercise is convenient to carry out sitting and leaning on the table. And now you need to evoke good memories, they will help to relax and relax the whole body, sit there for about five minutes. This exercise, which helps to relax the muscles of the eye, is the basis of almost all techniques and courses on restoring vision. If you work at a computer for many hours a day, do exercise "20-20-20": every 20 minutes for 20 seconds you need to do 20 blinks. This is enough to relax the eye muscles, moisturize the eyes and arrange a micro discharge.

One of the exercises, well trained eye muscles, is called a "mark on the glass." On the window glass at the level of your eyes you need to fasten a small round mark. Instead of a label, you can use a simple pencil. If you already began wearing glasses, then do the exercise in them. You need to be thirty centimeters from the window and look alternately at the mark and on a stationary object outside the window, for example, on a tall tree. Do this exercise for a month two times a day, increasing the time in a week from three minutes to seven.

There are several general recommendations for gymnastics for the eyes:

Exercise to improve vision should be done not for long, but often;

Begin with simple exercises, gradually increasing the complexity and number of repetitions;

Do not rush, all exercises are performed slowly and without tension;

At the end of each exercise you need to blink;

If in the eyes there is discomfort, you need to interrupt the exercise, relax and reduce the load.

Colored spots, circles and dots before your eyes, lacrimation or a sense of sand, headache - all these are signs that you are overstrained. It must be remembered that the main thing is the regularity and gradualness of the classes, and then the exercises for improving vision will be most effective.
