Drututi: what does the new meme mean?

Not so long ago, the Russian Internet was enriched with a new meme that literally spilled over to all resources and immediately spawned a lot of sequels, even leaked into everyday speech. A funny word has put many at a dead end, in fact, where did this "pullout" come from, what does it mean, how to apply it and is it appropriate?

New meme

If we talk about the meme itself, then some Internet user posted a photo of the plywood, on which the picture of the knots forms something like a curious face. Some say it's a dog, others see it, but even the explanation is not needed - the picture actually looks funny, and the signature "drauti", which means "hello", causes a healthy good-natured laugh.

For some reason, this word is accompanied by a set of smiley stitches with a mandatory zero. It happens when someone gambits on the keyboard with a message, accidentally tapping a finger on the next key. As usual, the meme immediately got a sequel - a mirror image of the same face, and the signature "dotvidaninya." In various combinations, this meme still continues to meet in social networks, forums and diary services, it is made of avatars, used as a hash-tag.

"Drututi" - what does this word mean from a linguistic point of view?

Russian language is characterized by colloquial simplification of many words, especially it concerns the words of politeness. In this case, almost up to unrecognizability, the word "hello" has been warped, the official form of greeting. It should be noted that it was distorted long before the appearance of the Internet - first in "good", then in "drast", there are many other forms, purely street, up to the frenetic "rubbish!", So there is nothing surprising in the regular wordform.

The meaning of the word "treadmill" does not differ from the starting configuration, but it is enriched by emotions. If "good" can be said ironically and added "in the middle of the night," emphasizing the absurdity of the situation, then in this case the emotional coloring is rather embarrassed, exaggerated-obsequious, a little childish. The reasons for this shade are hidden in the past.

Origin

Many bloggers believe that they know exactly where the word "drututi" came from. Ten years ago, a weekly entertaining program "Gorodok" was conducted on television, led by Ilya Oleinikov and Yuri Stoyanov. A couple of talented comedians acted funny scenes, sometimes there were several issues, united by one character, for example, Modest. Yuri Stoyanov portrayed a shy fat man with a speech defect, which began with the phrase "Dramatic, my name is Modest." Undoubted talent of the comedian who managed to create a memorable and cute image, quickly popularized this colloquial form of greeting, which existed in the last century.

Thus, "drututi", which means "hello", quickly went to the people. Not surprisingly, someone saw in the picture on the plywood a similar expression of an imaginary face, remembered the unforgettable Modest, and the combination turned out to be so successful that the Internet picked up a new popular meme and began to develop and re-create it, signing them with the appropriate pictures.
