EducationColleges and Universities

Do I need a higher education for a happy life?

For many, it seems standard life situation, when a child after entering the university enters the university, receives a diploma and goes to work. In this case, those who could not enter a higher educational institution, start to feel losers or people who are class lower than students. But it is worth investigating why higher education is needed and what are the ways to get it.

Coveted Diploma

People of the Soviet hardening very deeply sat down the stereotype of education. Many people think that if their child does not receive a diploma, his whole life will go downhill. But is it?

This opinion was formed due to the fact that during the existence of the Soviet Union there was an excess of low-profile jobs, where workers received low wages. If you tell the whole truth, then you need to mention that people with higher education have never been spoiled with high salaries either. But this category referred itself to the class of the intelligentsia, which gave an imaginary superiority.

Today the situation has changed significantly. The question of whether higher education is necessary is completely different. It relies on the benefits of knowledge that can be acquired during training. Mechanized and automated technology is gradually replacing the working class in factories and factories, thereby increasing unemployment and the number of "dying" professions. This state of affairs has substantially raised the status of workers in the intellectual sphere.

In addition, the teaching methods have also changed. Many private universities have appeared, where they try to teach not only the theory, but also the practice of the specialty being studied. For this reason, the cost of education has increased, and the prestige level of many state educational institutions has decreased.

This trend makes people with little financial resources think about whether higher education is necessary for their children? There are many entrepreneurs who provide the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills not through state-approved training programs, but through seminars, webinars and other apprenticeship systems.

Methods of education

If we talk about standard methods and forms of training, we can distinguish the following:

- stationary;

- Correspondence;

- Remote.

The stationary form of training means daily attendance of lectures and seminars provided by the curriculum. It seems most effective (from the point of view of obtaining and assimilating knowledge). This form of training can be carried out both on a paid basis and on a budgetary basis.

Correspondence form of training provides for the passage of training programs twice a year and is well suited for combining work and study. Of course, the knowledge received in one month may not yield a significant educational result, but in combination with practice they can prove to be very useful. Do I need higher education, obtained in this form by people who do not work in their specialty? Many professions simply presuppose a diploma.

Distance form of training allows you not to appear at the university at all. The student receives advice, assignments and recommendations by e-mail. Getting higher education through the Internet, the student saves his time and money. The cost of such a form of training is relatively low, but efficiency is also not distinguished by significant indicators.

Each person must decide whether higher education is necessary for him. In life, the best result comes from actions that are carried out under their own internal leadership. So, education can be qualitative only when a person wants to gain the necessary knowledge and skills.
