Dmitry Shcherbina was born in the city of Baku on October 1, 1968. Parents of small Dima were engaged in construction of the underground. For good work and outstanding personal data, the father was appointed deputy. Minister of Railways, and the family was preparing to move to Moscow. But these plans were not destined to come true. A terrible accident happened at the mine, took the life of the head of the family.

Years of Youth

For some time Dmitry, his mother and elder sister continued to live in Baku, and then decided to move to Minsk. It was in this city that the adolescence of the future theater and cinema star passed. Up to the 9th grade Dmitry Shcherbina was a round honors pupil, whose photograph for many years flaunted on the Honor Board. Mom was always proud of her son and dreamed that he would become a lawyer and build a good career. Graduate school with an honorary gold medal, which Dima prophesied the teacher, prevented the sport. He simply adored football, was an avid fan, tried not to miss a single match of his favorite team, and soon he himself wanted to become a football player. Scherbina began to train seriously, devoting less time to study. After a while he realized that football is not his path, but it was simply impossible to return a good certificate, and it was pointless to enter the law department with the fours. So Dmitry Shcherbina did not become a lawyer.

First education

Then Dima decided to enter the vocational school and study at a car mechanic. This profession is undoubtedly necessary, and besides Shcherbin always wanted to have his own car and be able to repair it if necessary.

In the school Dmitry was one of the most ardent activists in the cultural field. He often arranged parties and discos, which he himself led. He often heard enthusiastic remarks from classmates that he would have been a wonderful artist.

The beginning of acting career

Apparently, the incitement of others and their own thoughts on this topic reached a critical mass, and Shcherbin passionately wanted to become an actor. Fate was supportive of the talented boy and seemed to give him a chance. It so happened that just at this time Dmitry was entrusted to be the leader of a big concert of national significance. The speech was held at the highest level, for which the director of the school gave a recommendation to Dima for admission to the theater university in Minsk. But after studying there for 1 year, Shcherbina left to serve in the army and joined the ranks of the paratroopers. Having given the debt to the Fatherland, Dmitry enters the Moscow Art Theater School and is trained on the course of the Leontief Vanguard.

Work in the theater

Being a student of the Moscow theater studio, Shcherbina, led by Oleg Tabakov, took part in various productions. On his account, the role of Wikowski (the play "Biloxi Blues"), a white officer ("Passion for Bumbarash"), Count Novinsky ("Ordinary History").

In 1995, actor Dmitry Shcherbina transferred to the Theater. The Moscow Soviet, where he played in such productions as: "Madame Bovary" (in the role of Leon), "Do not joke with love" (in the role of Perdicana), "The Merchant of Venice" (in the role of Lorenzo and Bassanio), "King Lear" (in role Edmond), "Cyrano de Bergerac" (in the role of Christian), "The Black Bride" (in the role of Frederick) and "Dear Friend" (in the role of Charles Forestier).

In addition to performances at the Moscow Soviet Theater, Shcherbina takes part in the productions of the International Confederation of Theater Unions. Here he happened to appear in the role of a capricious butler named Malvolio in the play "Twelfth Night", which was staged by the Englishman Donnellan Declan. The director appreciated the talent of the novice actor and after a while again invited him to play the role of Prince Kurbsky in the play "Boris Godunov".

Debut in the cinema

Dmitry Shcherbina, whose biography is full of unexpected events, first appeared in film while still a student at the Moscow Art Theater School. His debut took place in 1992 in the detective Spivak Timofey "Three days outside the law." In this picture, the hero of Dmitry - a former paratrooper Andrew, fearlessly confronting criminal groups.

At the end of the same year, Shcherbin played in another detective story directed by Boris Neberidze, under the title "Diamonds of the Shah". However, in this film, the role of Dmitry was only episodic.

First Glory

A real fame was brought to the artist by the melodrama of Sakharov Alexey "The Young Peasant Woman", which was based on the story of the same name by Alexander Pushkin. Here Shcherbina played Berestov - a young handsome gentleman.

Remembering this work, Dmitry said that it was a real success at the very beginning of his creative career to encounter such dramaturgy, language, director and actors. Shcherbina was on the same set with Vasily Lanov, Leonid Kuravlev and Elena Korikova. The film was a tremendous success and collected a lot of various prizes at popular film festivals. But, despite such an enchanting start, the domestic cinema still did not spoil the actor. Only a year later, Dmitry again invited to the cinema. This time he starred in a criminal action movie called "Running from Death," where he played the main role. For this work a novice, but already very talented actor, won the nomination "The Best Male Role" at the "Golden Vityaz-97" film festival. Dmitry Shcherbina, whose filmography at that time was still so small, until the end of the 90's no longer received invitations to shoot.

Peak of popularity

Shcherbin played his next role in 2000. He appears in the first film called "Bushido" from the trilogy "The Black Room". The plot of the picture is that the boss Nikolai Ivanovich and his bodyguard (Andrei Shcherbina) play chess and in the process of the party the banker tries to teach the lives of his subordinate.

Apparently, if you do not take into account the "Mistress-peasant woman", Shcherbina, in general, is removed in the pictures of a criminal orientation. Was not the exception and a new role of the actor in the series "Stiletto". In the film, Dmitri's scenic hero, Ignat Voronov, is a former employee of classified secret services. The television series was highly appreciated, and the actor, after a brilliantly played role, was awarded the honorary title "Discovery of the Year".

In 2004, Shcherbina played one of the main roles in the multi-series film "Two Fates", based on the novels of Malkov Semyon "Payback" and "Blackmail." After the release of the series on television screens, the actor gained wide popularity and crowds of admirers of his work. Dmitry regularly began to invite to shoot new pictures.

He starred in such TV series as "Ermolovs", "Fun", "Make a wish," "Albanian nickname", "Admiral", "A hedgehog came out of the mist", "My personal enemy". Of his last roles, you can note the paintings "Ticket for two" and "Red Mountains", released in 2013.

Dmitry Scherbina: personal life

With his wife - Olga Pavlovets - Dmitry met on the set of the film "Stilett-2". On the plot of the picture she played the role of the wife of Alexander Domogarov, who soon died tragically. Remaining a young widow, after a while Olga's heroine begins to twist an affair with Dima's hero. Surprisingly, between the young people in love with the film, real feelings arose in real life.

Soon Dmitry Shcherbina and Olga Pavlovets became husband and wife. In 2005, they had a nice son, whom his parents decided to call Prokhor. Dmitry was so dreamed of becoming a father that he was even present at the birth of his wife and first took the crumb in his arms. As the actor says, it was the happiest day in his life. But the tight shooting schedule did not allow newly-made parents to raise their son together. It so happened that for a while Olga and Prokhor lived in Petersburg, and Dmitry in Moscow. After Olga began to appear again in the capital, the family reunited. However, the happiness did not last long, and in 2008 the couple divorced, while maintaining a warm and friendly relationship.

Now Shcherbina is married for the second time, and he keeps his beloved's name in secret. Not so long ago in the family of the actor a daughter was born.

Dmitry Shcherbina, whose filmography includes several dozen paintings, is a popular, talented actor whose work has a lot of admirers.
